Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. clearly made with high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The wine selection is impressive, The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, making it ideal for a relaxed evening or a special occasion. You can tell this place is run with heart and soul. A true gem in Faro, highly recommended for food and wine lovers looking for a refined and memorable culinary experience.

10/10From arrival until the moment we left the service was attentive but not intrusive and the food sublime, my second visit and not my last. We had the A la Carte and chose 5 dishes between two people and it was the perfect amount, thank you Epicur for a lovely evening

10/10We enjoyed most of the food (the cabbage soup from the ravioli course was a little bitter but I think that's just preference). The whole experience was lovely and they let you have a rest between courses if you wanted to. Highlight was the first course and steak course for me. Presentation and taste of the food was wonderful and being able to taste the wine before you ordered a bottle was amazing.

+4We stayed in Tavira for a few days and decided to drive to Faro for dinner here because of the reviews we read, and their neon sign caught my husband's attention lol. We were NOT disappointed. This is a tapas-style (petiscos) restaurants which is the way we love to eat. The plating, the flavors, and the textures were all so incredibly unique. All were created by the chef, who was the only one working in the kitchen. Then there was the service, the only one serving was Rodrigo, who's also part owner, he was also the sommelier and was so knowledgeable about all the unique wines he served us. We let him just pour for us to go along with our dishes and couldn't have been happier with the selections and we actually import wines from Portugal to the USA! The wine selection and the food there are top notch and so different than other restaurants so get ready to have an experience. We couldn't recommend this place more and can't wait to go back!

10/10Great food, creative signature dishes that drove us crazy. Each new thing we tasted was better than the last. Nice wine selection with only Portuguese wines, we enjoyed a nice Verde wine and later sparkling and madeira. Service was impeccable, definitely recommend for couples of groups of friend who want to taste amazing local food you're not gonna find anywhere else.

10/10This was our third visit and the food wine and service were ,as usual , ,of impeccable quality. A bonus this year was a short surrealist black and white film reminiscent of Luis Bunuel and Man Ray. We will be back next year.

6.5/10Attentive and informed service. Food is tasty but portion size is small for the price. Stylish setting but poor acoustics so noisy. Non- drinkers are not catered for at all. You are told the choice for drinks is wine or water and that's it.

10/10George and his chef travel the world to bring global culinary ideas to Portuguese small plates. We had a group of 10 people and were treated to sharing small plates. The food was amazing, the service attentive. George complimented the plates with some very nice wines from Alentejo and Douro regions. A memorable evening in Faro.

10/10An absolutely wonderful dining experience!! We were recommended this restaurant by a friend who lives in Faro and it’s honestly one of the best meals we have had. We opted for the tasting menu as we were celebrating and every dish was amazing! One dish wasn’t available but the were given plenty of options to choose from as a substitute. The wine pairing was super interesting given that they have over 400 Portuguese wines and the brief but detailed descriptions from the server were the right amount of information to not overload you. Can’t recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a special dinner, Epicur is your place.

This wee restaurant was a fabulous find! The food was delicious, all explained by the waiter. Wine was lovely & the waiter matched our individual tastes perfectly! The ambience was lovely too. The staff were very friendly & made the experience 5stars! Would definitely recommend this place. We booked online & it was busy.
