10/10Take yourself to this lovely hilltop village for a wonderful meal overlooking the beautiful valley below. The six hundred year old building has been beautifully renovated and the food features delicious Umbrian classics, some with a twist.

10/10This restaurant has some the best views in the region.Tucked away in the hilltop town of Montone it’s worth the effort to find. You can park on the road very nearby so keep driving! We each had a pasta dish that was scrumptious and the chefs cod was melt in your mouth perfect. We were celebrating an anniversary and we loved our desert called “almond tower” drizzled with dark chocolate. What a wonderful pranzo!

10/10The best restaurant in Montone! The food is delicious and presented beautifully. The staff are friendly and very helpful, plus the location is simply breathtaking. I visit regularly when I am in Umbria. Thank you Erba Luna!

6.5/10Food is delicious, but the restaurant was very cold...very cold...for this time a year (october) Service is good, friendly staff If they would decorate the place a bit more and forsee heating this place would be perfect

4/10Service was totally confused. Waitress completely misunderstood our order. Dishes were not served at right time. Food wasn’t very warm and wasn’t tasty. Seriously doubt will eat there again.

10/10We have visited this restaurant over many years. The hosts have never disappointed with their lovely welcome, excellent service, and wonderful, imaginatively cooked and presented dishes. We opted for an inside table, in the large, cool, dining room, which is aesthetically decorated with art works and in pristine condition. Our table was decked with green brocade linen and fine cutlery. We were delighted to see that one of our favourite antipasti - soufflé di zucchine e Gorgonzola - remained on the menu and worth the short wait for preparation while we tasted a half litre of Umbrian red. Two of our party of four followed with beautifully prepared and tender petto di anatra con fichi, another with delicious, mildly flavoured baccalà mantecato su cialda di polenta con cipollina rossa al balsamico e miele (which actually looked like tiramisu), and the other with manzo con mele and Calvados. And to finish off, we shared portions of piramide alla aasta di mandorle con crema di pistacchio e cioccolato and tiramisu.

8.5/10Absolutely delicious food and lovely surroundings. A shame it was so empty but didn't detract from our enjoyment. Will most definitely return.

8/10Could be outstanding. However, the langoustines were served slightly undercooked and the rack of lamb over cooked: not even slightly pink. Wonderful setting, great attention to detail and otherwise quite memorable

5/10Normally one of my favourite restaurants as the food is usually wonderful. So disappointed last night. My husband and I took our sons for a 'special meal' as we don't often get time all together. Two of us had risotto which is usually very tasty but they were really quite bland. Three of us had the lamb with pistachio crumb which has always been a favourite. The lamb fat was flabby and the crust seemed undercooked. We wondered as we were the only diners if they hadn't got the ovens blazing enough. Will wait until the summer when it is busier before we go again.
