10/10We enjoyed an exceptional meal with black truffle pasta, beef fillet with porcini and a fabulous dessert. The service and staff were molto simpatiche! Perfect !

10/10We had a very nice dinner at Est Artigiani del Gusto. Great food, great wine, great service. All at a fair price. Highly recommended to anyone looking for great italian food in a nice setting without it becoming too fancy.

10/10By far the best meal we had while in Rome. We dined here twice. Service was stellar as well, and their wine list cannot be riveled. Prices were more than reasonable.

10/10Wonderful food. Duck and buffalo mozzarella with oranges as a starter. Pasta, mushrooms and fennel sausage for the second course. Then veal breast fornara with delicious potatoes. Ended with chocolate orange cake and pistachios. Fantastic wine. All at reasonable prices and wonderful service. Best meal in Rome.

10/10Great little place with wonderful food! It was a rainy evening in Rome, and Est was just what we were looking for! Thoughtfully prepared comfort food, impeccable service and a cozy atmosphere. We loved the complimentary focaccia and seasonal pastas. Don’t skip dessert! Their torte is superb.

10/10With a quick reservation on The Fork, we were able to be seated outdoors on a lovely October evening. We shared the fried cod appetizer of the day and the “burnt grain” pasta of the day, both absolutely delicious. And a piece of chocolate cake to swoon over. House wine and limoncello, a friendly waiter, a delightful evening.

5.5/10The service was slow but the main problem was that the meats (Polpetti and Saltimbocq) were badly overcooked and the polpetti were unimaginative and poorly seasoned as well. Far less than the ratings promised across the cuisine.

Thank you dear customer for your review. If you like to be served in little time , you can just ask and we will be really very quickly. Our chef makes the meatballs with a little bit of white wine sauce using Italian style , we don’t add any cream like maybe use more of touristic restaurants. Saltimbocca can not be served medium or raw but is well cooked meat . So maybe the next time if you like less cooked meat , you can order a beefsteak or a beef fillet .

10/10The food is very good. Seemed like a spot for locals and then a couple of tourists like myself. This place was a recommendation and I would definitely go again. The ravioli was so delicious. I would highly recommend!

9.5/10The food was tied for the best I eat in Rome all week and I ate at some high-end places. The waiter had a great personality and made the evening more enjoyable. The only thing is that the restaurant is very small and we had a large party so our table had to be outside, which most places could be beautiful in Rome, but this was in a small side street with motorcycles going by and from the main street that it intersected with, there were some loud vehicles but that is just part of eating and visiting a large city. It did not smell like an alley or street. But the inside did smell amazing from the food. All together we had an awesome family meal.

6.5/10Everything went well until it was time to pay. We were told they preferred cash. We said we only had a card. They then proceeded to harass us and tell us there was an atm… or could we PayPal…. Or transfer from our bank… etc. They claimed the WiFi went out. They said this happened around 7pm…. Our reservation was at 8pm. NO ONE MENTIONED A WORD ABOUT THE WIFI GOING OUT!…… and not being able to pay by card! They sent over atleast 4 different people to “deal” with our situation. It was such a joke! It felt very calculated. After such good food and wine, to have it end this way was a huge disappointment. They made us look like jerks when they were the ones in the wrong! I would go in with caution. This was the worst part of our trip to Roma!

1. At 8.15 our waiter called me and said that our Pos (machine for pay by card ) was not working. I left the house immediately and had asked the customer to wait 15 minutes until I could get there. 2. We had alerted you of our WiFi problem but it had seemed that you didn’t believe us and I couldn’t understand why. We acted in good faith to resolve the problem as quickly as possible and had done nothing wrong. Your presumption that we were “out to get you” is wrong and false and your unpleasant reaction seemed incommensurate the problem and how we sought to resolve it. We hope you never find yourself in this type of situation and have to confront this type of reaction.

10/10Everything was lovely. After a week in Italy, it was clear that solo diners do not always receive the same treatment as their coupled counterparts. However, I felt like just as important as any other guest in this restaurant, and it is so very appreciated. Not only that, but the food was fantastic! Highly recommend!

10/10Many people come to Italy and they search for that one place to call home for dinner. You can search high and low but you will end up at the same end point every time. Maybe you find a place that looks good from the outside but then at the end of the meal you were disappointed. Or a highly recommended place that was well renowned but then you wondered why. This place…….this is that spot that you just find on chance and let me tell you…… MAMMA MIA!!! Fantastico. This restaurant is the REAL DEAL. Our meal was perfect. Every course. The wine. The Buffalo mozzarella. The pasta. The steak. The wine. Just all around amazing experience. Service was perfect. You come to this place to relax, sit back and feel at home! Thank you so much for the perfect Romano restaurant experience!!!

9.5/10We loved the food and wine. The restaurant accommodated our change of reservation and was helpful with food allergies (peanut, chickpea and lupini beans). We loved the fettuccine tartufo and beef filet. Also my husband loved his octopus and cod. Very good Pinot bianco.

8/10The food and wine were exceptional. However, the service was prolonged, even by Italian standards. It took at least 45 minutes to place our wine and food order. Our Antipasti and Primi Piatti all arrived within minutes of each other after we had waited at least 45 minutes for our first bottle of wine and over an hour for the food to arrive.

10/10This little restaurant is off the beaten track down a little side alley. We received a warm welcome from the staff who were friendly and attentive without being overly so. The food was amazing, well presented and excellent quality. Excellent selection of wines as well. Would highly recommend.

10/10Lovely quiet place down a picturesque lane. Delightful servers and wonderful dishes. We shared 2 pastas and the meatballs and a delicious lemon torta. Although we sat outside, inside looks very inviting as well!

6.5/10This was our first meal in Rome and we were very underwhelmed, despite booking a reservation here based on reviews. Service was slow, even for Italy. My husband ordered the Octopus and enjoyed it, I had pasta but it was nothing to rave about.

Thank you for this review, but we use only authentic recipes and I don’t remember which pasta did you order but if you think to have a pasta with cream or meatballs , I ‘m afraid you will not have it . Because our restaurant is not touristic place .

10/10This was the best meal we’ve had in Rome. Carpaccio with truffle - whoa! Parpadelle Ragu- didn’t know it could taste like that. Steaks with porcini, carbonara- what did they do to that pork(?) and octopus cooked to tender perfection. Excellence in desserts also with stupefying and tiramisu for the win. Lovely service and an off road ambiance. We will be back!

10/10I found this place through a YouTube video. What a great find. My wife and I both had pasta alla carbonara (home made) - excellent. She had eggplant parmigiana, and I had grilled octopus. Frankly the octopus was just ok but her eggplant was amazing - for dessert, my wife had a lemon cake while I opted for the standard tiramisu. The lemon cake was very good. The tiramisu was about average. I’m glad we made an early (7pm) reservation, as the place filled up quickly. Service was excellent, cute bistro to eat - lots of locals, very authentic. Oh, and the food was definitely at least an 8.5/10.
