The small and cosy restaurant was a great place to eat, the staff were knowledgeable and passionate about the food and wine and the food was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

First of all, the service was very good, the way they encountered us, the hospitable attitude and they very warm and welcoming way they interacted with us. This was a great find, the food was very tasty and the options they offered, each, was representing something from the Roman cuisine.

Est Artigiani del Gusto was a uniquely memorable experience. The food was amazing, and when I say amazing, I mean the Tonnarelli alla gricia con tartufo di stagione (pasta in cream and cheese with trufflles) was nothing like I have ever had before. They do something very welcoming—the two hosts jumped in to take our orders and give very helpful wine and food advice. We ended up going with a a bottle of a rare 2019 local Rosso favorite, after choosing glasses of the same 2022 vintage. Both were excellent, and the 2019 was noticeably more refined. Our host took time to help us with the food selections, as well as sharing their own personal stories. The atmosphere was lively and comforting inside. Outside looks great too; it was just a bit cold. The food is second to none, obviously driven by an outstanding chef. The weird is out with Americans like us. Most of the place was filled with Americans or Canadians. We look forward to the next time!

We went there for Valentines Day as a couple. Easy to say that it was an amazing expérience. Delicious food, adorable and funny staff, cozy and warm ambiance. A beautiful menu of local delicacies with of course localy sourced products. It was a delight to dîne in this wonderfull restaurant.

We have traveled to Rome many times. But each of our last three visits has included dinner at Est! The food is outstanding. It’s fresh and not overstated. The chef’s menus show clever uses of ingredients and serves them in a polished manner. I highly recommend giving Est a try. You won’t be disappointed.

We made sure to make a return trip to this spot on our second visit to Rome. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and the food is delicious. The service is wonderful and you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. We will be back the next time we make it to Rome.

They were very considerate toward us, who are not very good at either Italian or English. Both the food and drinks were delicious. The pasta with porcini mushrooms exceeded my expectations. I'm so glad this was the first restaurant I visited in Italy. I want to come back here someday. Grazie mille davvero.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. Went there with friends for dinner and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff was great. There was six of us and we all had a wonderful time.

Great menu, couldn't chose what to have! Kids catered for well, service very good. A few of the dishes were a little over salted for my taste but a lovely meal anyway.

I’ve lived in Rome for 5 years and I keep coming back to this spot. It’s continuously delicious, fresh, and authentic. The staff is amazing and service is excellent. It’s always my number one recommendation for people visiting Rome and wanting an authentic meal in the city center, which can be hard to find through the tourist traps. Can’t recommend enough!!!! 😍

We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The owner was a character and charming on the service was good and the food was excellent. It’s just off the main square so it can be a little loud, but that’s part of the charm. Would very happily come back here for another meal the next time we visit Roma.

The service was good overall, the restaurant's crowded atmosphere clearly impacted the level of individualized attention from the staff. Waiters efficiently took orders but did not seem to have the opportunity to offer recommendations or engage in understanding our preferences. The food had its highs and lows. The fettuccine with bolognese ragout was excellent and well-balanced; the accompanying parmigiano was unnecessary. My wife's steak was decent but lacked any distinguishing features. For dessert, the chocolate cake was enjoyable, though it did not deliver the anticipated intensity or flavor of a truly exceptional chocolate experience. Overall, the restaurant offers a pleasant, albeit busy, environment. However, it doesn't stand out as exceptional, especially given that prices are approximately 20% above average.

One of the best restaurants we have found in Rome! Second time visiting with very consistent experience. Menu with some interesting takes on traditional Roman cuisine. Always with the seasonal specialties that delight. Great wine list and very attentive service. We will be back on our next trip!
