The food was excellent, the service also, they give us a glass of wine during for the waiting! Their pastas are delicious and a special mention for Gerardo and his team !! I recomand this place, and I give them a 1000/10 !!

2/10Food was awful. By far, the worst we had in all of Italy. Over salted and stodgy. Poor flavours. Inedible tiramisu. Cold and unfriendly customer service. Wouldn’t recommend.

Good morning dear Customer. We are not a touristic restaurant. We have an excellent homemade pasta . You had a ravioli and Tonnarello cacio e pepe . Ravioli we make with fresh spinach and fresh ricotta . Usually people like it very much . We don’t use fresh cream sauces , but only butter and sage and Parmesan cheese , tonnarelli cacio e pepper we use only pecorino cheese and black pepper , but no cream . Pecorino cheese usually is salty . But may be in other touristic restaurants they make it with a lot of fresh cream . Our tiramisu we make with a homemade pan di Spagna and mascarpone , not with regular savoiardi . You had a wine , I also helped you to taste some different and to make your choice . You didn’t like our restaurant for some reason. I’m sorry if it was not enough for you . Hope to do better for other customers. The best regards. .

10/10We loved Est! The service was warm and welcoming. The food was fantastic. The standouts were the meatballs in white wine with mint and the lemon cake with white chocolate. We enjoyed the music too. It ranged from Sinatra to Amy Winehouse. Wish they were in our home town.

10/10Had a wonderful meal here, couldn’t fault anything. Everything we ate was delicious, I would even say that the truffle pasta with guanciale and pecorino was the best pasta I have ever had and the beef carpaccio was so good, I wish I could have eaten more. Service was very attentive and the setting just perfect for our group of 11. I think this will be my go to restaurant when I visit Rome in the future. They also have a great selection of wines which they let us sample before the meal.

We had an absolutely amazing dining experience! To start, we tried two appetizers—the prosciutto with cheese and the anchovies—and both were phenomenal. Each bite was bursting with flavor and set the tone for a fantastic meal. For our mains, my daughter chose the pappardelle bolognese, and it was perfection. The sauce was rich, hearty, and incredibly flavorful. I opted for the octopus, which was cooked to perfection—savory and tender with just the right amount of seasoning. My husband had the cod, and it was equally impressive—flaky, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The wine recommendations worked well with the food we ordered. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves quality food and an unforgettable dining experience!

10/10Wonderful food. Duck and buffalo mozzarella with oranges as a starter. Pasta, mushrooms and fennel sausage for the second course. Then veal breast fornara with delicious potatoes. Ended with chocolate orange cake and pistachios. Fantastic wine. All at reasonable prices and wonderful service. Best meal in Rome.

Great little place with wonderful food! It was a rainy evening in Rome, and Est was just what we were looking for! Thoughtfully prepared comfort food, impeccable service and a cozy atmosphere. We loved the complimentary focaccia and seasonal pastas. Don’t skip dessert! Their torte is superb.

10/10With a quick reservation on The Fork, we were able to be seated outdoors on a lovely October evening. We shared the fried cod appetizer of the day and the “burnt grain” pasta of the day, both absolutely delicious. And a piece of chocolate cake to swoon over. House wine and limoncello, a friendly waiter, a delightful evening.

5.5/10The service was slow but the main problem was that the meats (Polpetti and Saltimbocq) were badly overcooked and the polpetti were unimaginative and poorly seasoned as well. Far less than the ratings promised across the cuisine.

Thank you dear customer for your review. If you like to be served in little time , you can just ask and we will be really very quickly. Our chef makes the meatballs with a little bit of white wine sauce using Italian style , we don’t add any cream like maybe use more of touristic restaurants. Saltimbocca can not be served medium or raw but is well cooked meat . So maybe the next time if you like less cooked meat , you can order a beefsteak or a beef fillet .

10/10The food is very good. Seemed like a spot for locals and then a couple of tourists like myself. This place was a recommendation and I would definitely go again. The ravioli was so delicious. I would highly recommend!

9.5/10The food was tied for the best I eat in Rome all week and I ate at some high-end places. The waiter had a great personality and made the evening more enjoyable. The only thing is that the restaurant is very small and we had a large party so our table had to be outside, which most places could be beautiful in Rome, but this was in a small side street with motorcycles going by and from the main street that it intersected with, there were some loud vehicles but that is just part of eating and visiting a large city. It did not smell like an alley or street. But the inside did smell amazing from the food. All together we had an awesome family meal.

6.5/10Everything went well until it was time to pay. We were told they preferred cash. We said we only had a card. They then proceeded to harass us and tell us there was an atm… or could we PayPal…. Or transfer from our bank… etc. They claimed the WiFi went out. They said this happened around 7pm…. Our reservation was at 8pm. NO ONE MENTIONED A WORD ABOUT THE WIFI GOING OUT!…… and not being able to pay by card! They sent over atleast 4 different people to “deal” with our situation. It was such a joke! It felt very calculated. After such good food and wine, to have it end this way was a huge disappointment. They made us look like jerks when they were the ones in the wrong! I would go in with caution. This was the worst part of our trip to Roma!

1. At 8.15 our waiter called me and said that our Pos (machine for pay by card ) was not working. I left the house immediately and had asked the customer to wait 15 minutes until I could get there. 2. We had alerted you of our WiFi problem but it had seemed that you didn’t believe us and I couldn’t understand why. We acted in good faith to resolve the problem as quickly as possible and had done nothing wrong. Your presumption that we were “out to get you” is wrong and false and your unpleasant reaction seemed incommensurate the problem and how we sought to resolve it. We hope you never find yourself in this type of situation and have to confront this type of reaction.

Everything was lovely. After a week in Italy, it was clear that solo diners do not always receive the same treatment as their coupled counterparts. However, I felt like just as important as any other guest in this restaurant, and it is so very appreciated. Not only that, but the food was fantastic! Highly recommend!
