Great food, ambiance and service, definitely met our expectations! If you are looking for a cozy place in a central location in Lille, would like to taste local cuisine and beer, this is a place to go to!

I was waiting for 5 mins and tried to ask to get a table but they ignored me so I just went out

Good food, great service, waiter was able to help in English when my French failed me.

When we arrived they had our reservation. The food we ordered (Carbonare Flamande and Welsh) was really good. They actually have a more diverse menu than the one that you can read here on The Fork. They had applied the 20% discount even before I asked them. Very good experience!! We’ll come back for sure.

Très très bien! We have enjoyed our food sp very much. It was tasteful and we are really surprised about the large portion of the main. So we couldn't finished our plate although we really wanted to! Must try when you are in Lille <3

The restaurant is relaxed but we originally had a table right by the toilet. We moved. Its not fine dining but portions were good. Sent creme brulee back to be properly cooked. We were the last in the restaurant and they put up chairs on tables but they did not rush us.

Estaminet Au Soyeux is a traditional restaurant of Lille. The atmosphere and the cuisine are very typical, you can eat all specialities like carbonnade flamande, welsh, etc.

Food was just acceptable but the waitress attitude was very poor. Not recommended.

It’s really disappointed. I booked with the fork and when I was there I told my reservation and they said you can choose your table but inside (in summer really hot). When I asked for my bill so there wasn’t discount from the fork as they said it was canceled and I wasn’t informed neither the moment when I arrived to restaurant neither by email so they refused my reservation online without notice. I found it’s strange and not so honest. I checked other comment and I found I wasn’t only one who complain about it. If not, they have lovely terrace.

One of the few places open on Sunday night! The food was delicious and the service homely. Beer and cocktail was great. The bone marrow and crocettes were most enjoyable!

Food was good. In good proportions for a dish. Carbonnade was a bit too sweat though, they had sugar. We did not had desert it was more than enough. Beer was good from the house

Authentic bistro. Good friendly service. Limited choice of wine and on the expensive side. 10 EUR for 250ml. Very difficult to get to with a wheelchair due to cobbled streets. Taxi recommended !

A warm welcome from this intimate bistrot. Lots of local custom I noted. Food was good with some nice twists such as proper beef dripping (gras de boeuf) frites. The tarte a la biere in my ‘cafe gourmand’ was also a tasty novelty for me. Prices were reasonable for the rue de Gand.
