10/10We ate here on the day after Bastille Day for lunch. To be honest for the price conscious guest I would recommend not using the Fork promotion for lunch. They did charge a lot for a drink. BOISSONS are not covered by the discount. However the Samosa are well just OK. I recommend you skip them. In India a samosa plate is about 3 for the equivelant of 1$. Here they were 4.5 Euro and half price still 2.5E for 1 samosa. They were dry and a little greasy and I would not recommend ordering them. The cheese NAN was OK. The cheese was not very tasty. It was sort of a very creamy white cheese with no flavor. So order the nan without cheese and save yourself 2.5E. The Dinner plate was copious. We had the lamb biryani for one guest and the Lamb Vindaloo for the second guest. The lamb biryani as not spicy at all... perhaps as for more spice next time and a little dry. Both were acceptable. My lamb vindaloo could have been spicier. I will ask for this NEXT TIME. I will return. The lamb was super flavorful and tender. VERY GOOD! The water came in these beautiful blue and red glass bottles and was FREE and chilled. Perfect for a warm summer day. The decor was modern indian bourgeois. I think it was nice. Some other people in other reviews said it was not nice. Being asian (chinese) I thought it was OK. It was clean and quiet. There were a group of 4 regulars at the table next to us and they were having a great time. The menu price for lunch is cheaper than what we spent. (16E per person for lunch). The menu price includes NAN, entree and plat and dessert I think for 9.5E. We did not get dessert and it cost us 16E per person with the discount per person for lunch. We did take home a small package (doggy bag) which was partly good for dinner the next day. All in all I WOULD DEFINITELY recommend this restaurant. Good value for the lunch special for sure. The regular prices would have been the same for dinner. So for dinner 16E for two is perfectly fine! I think this will be our neighborhood Indian place. Rue de la Charonne is very lively at night and even for lunch. As an aside we tried to visit another local place called CARDAMOME cafe on Bastille Day. It was EXTREMELY inhospitable. They refused our FORD reservation (50% off by the way) because we were 10 minutes late and they put a no show on our account! They were very rude (the other place... Cardamome). DO try this place for lunch at the menu price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

10/10The food was excellent, there was a big choice of dishes and lots of vegetarian options. The atmosphere was charming. The staff was amiable and welcoming and we enjoyed every second. I highly recommend!

8.5/10The food is crazy awesome. Literally my favourite place where to eat !! Prices are really affordable and with The Fork promotion one can get a very good deal! However the way clients are treated must be improved, it’s worsening every time I go there and it’s sad because I am always happy to eat there, as long as I’m treated as a client.

2/10Terrible service, rude waiter, cramped restaurant with tiny tables. Very very terrible food. If you're an Indian, please don't even bother eating here. If you're not, please don't try, you'll not have a pleasant experience. Food is bland and tasteless which is literally the opposite of what proper Indian food should be.

6.5/10The food was very nice, but when the take away orders arrived to the restaurant, the owner privileged them to the customers who were dining in place at the restaurant. We had to wait 40min between the starters and the main dish. Nice food but not a good experience overall because of the long wait.
