Avoid! The food was very bad, and the fado was also of very low quality, it felt like a tourist trap!

We really liked the possibility of listening to Fado while enjoying great food. The only bad thing is that is wasn't pointed out in the web page that the required amount of money per person spent to eat is min 15euros, and this does not include money spent on drinks. It's not a lot, but we would have appreciated if it was pointed out earlier.

If you are looking for a night of Fado this is a great place. Out of the way restaurant with a great atmosphere. The singers stand in the doorway so both the inside and outside tables can hear them well. Perfect atmosphere and the singers were really awesome the night we were there. Felt like a truly authentic Fado and Portuguese experience.

Was recommended to me by a local and I’m so glad! Staff super lovely and hospitable and the fado was amazing!! Would definitely return to it on another trip to Lisbon!

The fado performance was great, especially in the cosy setting of the restaurant where the complete room is filled with music! Staff is really friendly and helpful. Food was all right - some tapas to snack on between the sets. I definitely recommend it!

First of all, the servers and employees where all wonderful and so kind. And the fado performers were AMAZING. However. DO NOT EXPECT QUICK SERVICE. THIS IS NOT THAT KIND OF PLACE. There are only 2 people taking orders, cleaning tables, and then a bartender who helps out and takes payments etc. They will also minimize disruption during the performance sets (as they should) so this causes more delays…and it was very very crowded, with a lot of people waiting for tables too. The food was good but not amazing but I didn’t really go there for the food anyway so overall, very happy with the experience.

Excellent way to spend a romantic and enjoyable evening in Lisbon ! We loved the area and the restaurant. The Fado was really interesting and pleasant to listen to. Highly recommend this place. Shoutout to thank our travel agent Gregory at Spain and Portugal Vacations . com in the USA for choosing the place. He lived in Portugal 30 years and knows the country like a native !!

It's a warm welcoming place, the food is delicious, impeccable service and the FADO.... It's just amazing. A spectacle filled with surprises that absolutely made me emotional!! I super advise any portuguese to go and experience our culture, as well foreigners to go and meet our beautiful patrimony- FADO!

Nice place located on a quiet and friendly block of Alfama. Fado was good and the service was ok. The food was average. A place to visit if you’re looking for the traditional Lisbon, but not for the food.

Really friendly welcome. Jan talked us through the menu and suggested some dishes for us and insisted that we tried the bacalau... It was delicious.; there were eight of us... We had lots of food ( and deserts) and wine for about 25 euros each...great value as the fado was included. The only disappointing thing was that there was only a choice of two deserts. The fado singers were wonderful...a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
