The wine bar vibe with the fado background music made the atmosphere a delight. The food and wine were outstanding. Pleasant and friendly service although, being the end of the evening when service was drawing to a close, it was a little slow at times.

Really delicious Portuguese food and wine! We expected fado music due to the name of the restaurant which they started playing on speaker after we asked for it. It’s a really nice smalls and cozy restaurant.

The ambience was really nice, the place is really making you feel comfortable and enjoy. The cheeseboard with ham is perfect for two people. The portion is very big

Lovely little spot. Waiter (whose name we didn’t catch) was fantastic. Great advice on wine, very attentive despite being busy. Did not feel at all rushed. Food was delicious. Between us we had octopus and piglet, and cannot complain. Next time we’re in Lisbon we will be back.

Fado & Wine is a lovely little place across the pedestrian path from a larger standard restaurant owned by the same person. Our server was very helpful in helping us choose a wine and we were able to enjoy a full meal (from the large restaurant) while we sat in the cosy, wine store space. We're glad we sat inside because as the evening progressed, the wind increased and the temperature dropped rapidly. One bonus that we always rate highly is that Fado & Wine did not have a TV on.

we are a french family and we came in lisboa for a week, the restaurant was really clean and well decorated. the staff was very friendly and (i think) the boss spoke french with us and was really nice. The waitress was also very patient and kind, and the food was delicious and local. i recommend this place!

The service was a bit slow but very friendly and apologetic for the time we waited. The food was very good! Especially the octopus and fish of the day. We also appreciated the break from the otherwise busy and loud steets.

All the wines on the shelves are mature and quite expensive. Apart from those, the selection is small. Food is mediocre, staff is very friendly. There is no fado.

Great food, cool atmosphere, being able to choose any bottle off the wall is such a great layout. The food was so delicious and the staff had many great recommendations. It’s a super small space so definitely make a reservation.

Sadly empty and rather soulless (at 8pm on a Tuesday evening) but an energetic and cheerful barmaid/waitress provided what atmosphere she could. Great choice of wines and better-then-average food from the mother-restaurant across the road.

The restaurant had a very clam and relaxed atmosphere. The menu offered a good selection of dishes and the food was served in good time and was delicious. We had exceptional service thorough out our whole meal with a super friendly waitress who gave us great advise and knew lots about the wines. Highly recommended.
