Farta Brutos stands out as one of the few genuinely authentic Portuguese restaurants remaining in the highly touristic Chiado area of Lisbon. With a long and esteemed tradition, it consistently delivers on the quality and true taste of Portuguese cuisine. The dining experience is enhanced by impeccable wine pairing suggestions and exceptionally personal service. For a genuine and memorable Portuguese gastronomy experience, this is the essential destination.

A very welcoming place where we were treated to a lovely meal. The sardines were delicious and so were the veal and fish. The pork dish was tasty but could have had more sauce, it was so tasty! Topped off with a delicate and soft crème brulee and a dark and very rich port — delicious! We were a loud and happy foursome reuniting after a long time and it was the perfect place to rendezvous in the swirling fun of the Bairro Alto.

Friendly service, the lady does her best but only speaks Portuguese. The man speaks English fluently. We ate the seafood dish, very tasty. 1 small tip, add the mussels to the pot a little later, they were already overcooked.

As a Portuguese I like the food, but it is overpriced for a small amount of food.

Great restaurant with excellent food and staff. Was recommended by a friend and lived up Tom expectations. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.

The food was good although pricey, as was the wine. The orange "salad" dessert was exquisite. Will we return? Perhaps not as there are so many alternatives.

Food and service very good. Choice of wines by the glass limited and slightly overpriced as well as water...€3,50 for a small sparkling one...orherwize ok.

Staff were lovely, food was very good but oddly seasoned. I used a lot of salt in my dish as it was quite bland, whereas my partners dish was way too salty. Very chilled, relaxed vibe but we were the only people there at the time.

The food was good, but they try to cheat putting cheese on the table even before our camed and providing unrequested stuffs at the dinner’s beginnig that you we’ll have to pay high. sparkling water at the crazy price of 6€ per 75cl

I had fish, some sort of pickled sardines as a starter and a dorade prepared in the local style as a main course. The staff did their very best to let me feel welcome and helped with suggestions. All in all, this place has a very authentic feel to it, and i immediately felt at home.
