+1This is an amazing restaurant with a passionate workforce the food is delicious. A mix of tradition and enthusiasm of new ideas really does hit the mark. I had paired Sicilian wines that really highlighted the flavours and my wife who is not keen on wine went for a pairing of beers that really did pair so well. Our host was really informative of the story of the food the winery’s and the breweries. It was a truly wonderful evening. Just be warned it is not easy to find so opposite from the central square there is a side street that forks off from the main road and you want to go to end of that one.

9/10The main courses (sphagetfi, eel) were outstanding The starters were variable, the squid was very good but one with cartilage jelly was bland and tough. The service was excellent

10/10One of the nicest restaurants we’ve ever been to. Amazing ambiance, outstanding service and friendliness and super cool takes on traditional dishes. Refined without being too formal, funky playlist, great accompanying stories by our host and very kid friendly too. These two sisters really rock and we most definitely recommend!!

8.5/10Not your typical Italian restaurant. Food is very different and interesting. It’s good but not yet very good. We chose the 4 course menu . Price point is definitely attractive and both the venue and atmosphere are very good. Maybe next time we will choose the more extensive menu to get a more complete picture. But overall a very nice evening accompanied by good food and excellent service.

10/10The whole meal was an marvellous experience. We will be back each time we are in Modica and are so glad to finally find this beautiful restaurant. Service was first class and the food amazing. A venue which strikes the perfect balance between fine/formal dining and yet relaxed and friendly. Throughly recommend.

+1A little hidden gem in the heart of Modica. It was difficult to find, but once we did we were pleasantly surprised and the level of sophistication and creativity of the young sisters taking care of this place. Two sisters of 25 and 27. The younger sibling, busy in the kitchen creating masterpieces based on her traditions and passion for new concepts, while the older sister pairing those wonderful creations beautifully and running the front of house like clockwork. If you're in the region this place is a must!

A beautiful spot tucked in off the main streets of lower Modica. We shared the 6 course tasting menu with a beer and wine pairing. Everything was excellent. Service is outstanding and also approachable (not stuffy at all). They even accommodated our two small children. Our main server, Paolo, was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

10/10This was our first visit, a night out for my husband’s birthday. From the moment we climbed the steps and entered the gorgeous courtyard garden, full of lots of different trees, everything felt special. The food was delicious - innovative and beautifully presented too. The wine list was extensive - with something to fit all budgets. The service was excellent from start to finish - attentive but discreet, informative and interesting without being showy or over the top. We loved the informality and friendliness of it all, something you don’t always get in restaurants like this. I noticed a 2023 chef award for excellence in the lobby. This is an excellent restaurant in all respects. Looking forward to the next excuse to visit!

10/10The food was excellent, the music was great, the service was exceptional. We shared a starter which was beautifully served on separate plates, our pastas came together and then our shared second course was again perfectly presented. This is a lovely restaurant in the beautiful city of Modica. I highly recommend it!

7.5/10The restaurant ownership has changed since I was last there three years ago for an excellent NYE dinner. Now the concept has changed and I admire the chef for trying to come up with different dishes to the usual, and the food quality was indeed excellent. They do need to work on their presentation, starting from the difficulty to read the badly planned menu from the QR code / iPad. We were a table of five and the starters were served in cold plates over the space of 7 minutes, by the time the last dish arrived all the others had gone tepid. The excuse that the dishes have different cooking times doesn’t hold, more so when the restaurant was empty, and the kitchen should have easily coped. Overall it was a pleasant, different eve, and I would suggest one tries the place out to give the new blood a chance. They do need to understand that their pricing isn’t low, and one needs to similarly deliver high standards at all levels. They need to polish their act, improve their marketing and approach, and then I am confident they can do well.

10/10After traveling around the country for two weeks and eating many amazing meals, this was the best that I had, hands down. Elevated and gourmet without feeling fussy or pretentious, it was like a master recreating the dishes their grandmother made, but always with an unexpected twist. Our server Paolo was so kind and attentive — he was passionate about each dish, a passion he was able to pass onto us, the diners. I’d recommend doing one of the tasting menus — you should try to taste as much as you can here!

Beautiful food and ambience. The food was exquisite and each course was described to us so we knew just what we were eating. Very friendly staff who were extremely welcoming. Highly recommend!!!!

10/10this restaurant had a very nice ambience, they cared a lot about the satisfaction of their clients. The service was very good, not too long. Waiters were polite, friendly and professional. They was a long list of possible wines and we’ve been very well advised on the choice. The food was definitely good but also original and creative.

6/10Attracted by entry in Michelin guide and didn’t mind that we were the only people eating in the cavernous restaurant. Hey, it’s April, we thought and pre-season in Modica. Didn’t mind that the first things we chose turned out not to be on the menu. Ok, it’s pre-season we repeated nervously. It’s when a dish simply titled “zucchini” turned out to be a whole semi-raw zucchini in breadcrumbs with some cabbage on the side we need we had made a mistake.
