Delicious dishes, friendly and helpful staff. The overall ambiance was excellent, and the cuisine more than met my expectations.I would definitely love to eat at Fieramosca again!

Best lamb I’ve had in Rome so far, some in our group were disappointed in there choices. Good service. Nice ambiance. I would eat here again.

The restaurant is located in the beautiful section of Trastevere. The ambience, location, and food were excellent. The service was very good. The restaurant was busy and wait staff very busy also but very friendly, cordial and accommodating. If you want to experience and dine at a typical Roman restaurant then I highly recommend Fieramosca in Trastevere.

The food was good and the restaurant was beautiful. I ordered a lasagna, which was well made; and a Cacio e Pepe but it wasn’t my favorite I’ve tried. I went with a large group of friends and they accommodated us very well on the terrace, so if you’re looking for a place to attend with family and friends or for an event, it’s a very good option.

Service was not great. Food average and tables are ridiculously close together, so as you can’t get out of your seat.

We often think the food in these big restaurants is inferior to small ones. This is not true at Fieramosca (and others) where the dishes are true Italian and especially Roman. These are almost always excellent examples of local cuisine without aspirations to grandeur. The ambiance is fun and the beauty of an old building enhances the feeling. Staff are friendly and as attentive as a large crowd can allow. They happily found dishes for my vegan diet companion, my grilled octopus was perfect. And the cost was very reasonable.

Everybody heads up, saying hello when we arrived. Nice place with great food and atmosphere and we sat for almost four house without anybody wanting us to leave.

We made a reservation and were seated upon arrival! The waiter was very nice however, misunderstood what my friend ordered and we received an extra dish we didn’t order. It’s ok, we didn’t send it back, instead it was eaten and we left very full and happy. The food was wonderful.

I visited because i had seen an instagram post about the restaurant. It was absolutely worth it! Very nice ambience, historical location, great food and service!

From the moment my husband and I walked into the restaurant, we felt like we were at home. The staff went over and above for us, they were friendly and warm. The food was superb and the ambiance was beautiful- old world Roman charm. The best part was that we got to eat amongst the locals. That made the experience so memorable. Wine was fantastic! The pistachio tiramisu was a serous dream! Highly recommend.

Everything about this restaurant was lovely. The food was to a high standard at a good price and the service was welcoming which matched the dining area.

The night started off great. Food was very good. Service was attentive until half way through our meal. One main course out of 4 came, 5 minutes later another, another 5 minutes another. Now all 3 are waiting and our food is getting cold. Apx 25 minutes after the first the 4 th plate was served. We then were ignored the rest of the night. Had to keep trying to flag a server for more wine and drinks, no one asked if we wanted anything further. Again waiting for a server to bring the bill. Started great but was disappointed with service

The staff made this a wonderful experience. They made us feel welcome and they made us laugh. We loved it. AND the food was incredible. I highly recommend!

Amazing place, great service, appetizers and pasta (carbonara) were on top. I was disappointed about the tagliata, they brought it too cold, and the fat around was too hard and cold to be eaten.

At first, the serving staff seemed to be trainee staff so there were a few small mistakes, however, it was settled quickly, and other people there were very professional and attentive. The food was amazing, especially Saltimbocca and Tiramisu, which was satisfyingly perfectly balanced, so I would recommend anyone to try these menus and we are willing to visit again on our next visit to Rome. Outside sits were nice, next time I would like to enjoy the medical atmosphere inside the restaurant as well~

All in all, we were really dissapointed because we'd heard really good things about the restaurant. First, we ordered our food and drinks and then about 3 minutes later the starters came out before our wine so we were eating and then the wine came out and the waiter just put it on the table and walked away without saying anything. In Italy it's common to ask who wants to taste the wine and we never had that although we saw the staff do it with other customers. Whenever we asked for something the staff were a little rude and stand offish and we felt as though because we spoke English they didn't accomodare us well. As someone who is Italian and can speak the language I could see that the staff were more accomodating to other customers and we felt quite left out which was sad. The food wasn't anything to write home about unfortunately. It wasn't disgusting but it wasn't great and that was also dissapointing. All in all, it wasn't a good experience and personally wouldn't recommend it to other people. Maybe it was an off night and maybe it was a one off but in general the whole experience was dissapointing which was really sad. I'm only giving an honest opinion and I don't want to sound like I'm being fussy and annoying but it wasn't a good experience over all.

Carbonara was delicious, grilled tagliata with potatoes was excellent, they have dedicated stuff to grilled meat. Pizza and focaccia were very yummy

Food is good, but to be honest there is room for improvement on certain dishes and service readiness. However, there has to be said that the place was packed and I guess for the kitchen isn’t easy to deliver on each dish as you would expect by the standards. The set up and environment are just wonderful. The crew do its best to meet your needs. They are all nice and with a big smile. They are happy to receive feedback is something is wrong. We sent them back a dish and they asked “how can we do better for you ?”. That’s a sign of maturity. Globally a good experience, hopefully, to write back in the future to say that it became excellent.

Beautifully restored old building. Delicious food, great service, friendly staff. Would go there again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend it.
