excellent food, friendly service

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Quality of meat justifies the restaurant reputation. However find the wine list a little pricier and of poor selection!

Another fantastic meal. I can recommend the Chateaubriand cooked however you like yours on your own hot stone, exceptional. Staff are so friendly, it is competitively priced and with a lot of diners it’s great atmosphere

The service and food is excellent. The only thing that really bothered me that evening and many others I noticed was a round table with full of Dutch that was very loud and automatically the whole restaurant got loud. It was very uncomfortable. The sound level was unbearable. But they still get 5 stars from me cause food and service was super.

We have visited this restaurant on many occasions and made to feel very welcome by the courteous staff. The atmospheric was a little lacking as fewer diners in than we have usually seen but coming to the end of the holiday season now. Superb choice of food, must remember next time to ask for the vegetables to be cooked a bit more, rather too al dente for our tastes.

We loved everything about our dinner on the first night of our holiday. After seeing the theatre of steak being carved at the table there was only one decision to make…single 350g portion or go for the unlimited for €78. The quality of the meat is astonishing. The service is fun and friendly. It was so good we booked to go back mid week. Thanks to all involved

A windy Tuesday night and for some reason everywhere looked quiet. Good and service excellent as always.

Excellent food, after the vegetables last week were too Al dente, we asked for them to be cooked more, they were perfect this week. A superb meal.

absolutely superb food and service. lovely to be recognised by the staff after an 8 month absence. vegetables on this occasion a little too Al dente for our liking, will ask for them to be cooked more next week.

This is a fantastic restaurant. The staff were amazing. Food was also top notch. I would recommend to everyone. You will not be disappointed. Thank you again all the staff at Figueiral for making our evening very special

The team is engaging and friendly. Attentive most of the time with a couple of hiccups but nothin major. The food is presented very well however not up to the expectations: everything seemed a little too cooked from the grilled prawns to the grilled fish. A complimentary amouse bouche of a date rolled in bacon resulted a little too cooked too. The onion soup on the other side missing the ‘roasted’ flavours. The ambiance was nice. A good experience overall.
