10/10Our meal at Firmin le Barbier was superb! We had no idea there is a gorgeous view of the Eiffel Tower from the terrace, so that was a lovely surprise that made the whole experience exquisite and dreamlike. The meal was phenomenal with flavors we were blown away by. We loved our first meal there so much, we made a reservation for our last night in Paris. It's really the perfect restaurant in Paris, not to mention the host & chef are so incredibly friendly and welcoming! We cannot wait to go back our next time in Paris!

10/10What an extraordinary meal, not just my favorite in Paris by far but also one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever eaten. The chef and his wife create fabulous recipes with the freshest ingredients, treat their guests with great care, and all this with a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower nearby. I’ve been lucky enough to dine at a few Michelin 3 star restaurants….my dinner at de Barbier was just as divine, but Firmin’s pasta with truffles was even better than French Laundry’s version. Just go. Just book this place. You will not be disappointed!

6.5/10We went based on the good reviews of the food and the view of the Eiffel Tower. The view was indeed nice and the food was decent but very limited in choices. I was surprised that calf's head was one of two choices on the less expensive menu. The hostess was grumpy which did not make for a nice start, but it seems from many of the reviews and the way she responds to criticism that she is a cranky sort. The thing we liked least was that we were made to purchase water. We had read that, by law, in France, restaurants are required to offer a carafe of tap water. We said this, but she said no, it was not true. When we googled after, we found that it *is* required to offer free tap water! That was disappointing and felt ungracious for such a small amount of money. The husband/chef was friendly and nice. Unfortunately, despite the nice view, I would not recommend it due to the less than gracious service and the limited menu choice.

10/10Lovely little restaurant near the Eiffel tower. The chef is the owner! Service was lovely! We did not feel rushed and we were able to savor each course. This was our favorite restaurant in Paris!

10/10We’ve been here before and came back because we’ve enjoyed it in the past. It didn’t disappoint! Service great, food great. Both the Bistrot menu and the Firmin menu had nice options. The Firmin menu is, from memory, about €10 higher than the Bistrot menu for the three course meal. Nice wine list, nice list be the glass. Outside seating was very enjoyable and rhe Eiffel Tower is almost in your lap.

10/10We had a very pleasant experience. The staff was very kind and helpful. The bistrot offers a limited range of plates and menus but the food quality was excellent and all courses were delicious, just as the wine. The bistrot is face to the tour Eiffel so you can enjoy the view from the outdoor tables. We enjoyed our dinner! :) Laura & Andrea from IT 🇮🇹

10/10This place was excellent and a short walk to Eiffel Tower . The food was delicious. The chef clearly visible in a small kitchen putting out some great dishes and the server was on the ball the whole evening! Do not miss this place!

10/10The food at Firmin is as good as we remember it from years ago. Everything was very tasty. The service was fantastic and you cannot beat the view. We got to see the Eiffel Tower from 1 block away seated outside having a lovely Parisian meal...including the lights going off!

10/10Everything was fantastic! Highly recommend. Prixe Fixe menu with excellent selections. Caesar Salad 10/10, Escargot with a creamy delicious sauce 10/10, skirt steak with bone marrow 10/10, black risotto and tiger prawns 8/10. Three desserts because they insisted we have the passion fruit creme brûlée 10/10. A bottle of wine to complement the meal and left under 200€. If you don’t drink, you could easily have a fresh, elegant meal for two, prepared in the open kitchen for less than 100€. Gigi was a delight and was very kind to us. Gave us the best corner table in the restaurant!

10/10A MUST FOR EXCEPTIONAL DINING IN PARIS My wife and I have been going to Firmin Le Barbier for years. We have had both lunch and dinner and have been amazed at the consistent quality of the service, the warm welcome and the superb dishes that chef Vialatte prepares. When the terrace dining is available in the spring and summer the unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower, both at lunch and at dinner, is stunning. When we have a special guest in town Firmin Le Barbier is always one of our top choices for a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. We recently invited a good friend who is Parisian, to lunch at FLB. He studied wines and gastronomy in Paris and was struck by the exceptional quality of the food, the artistic presentation, and the charming view of the kitchen - a big plus for him. We asked him to select the wine. He chose a marvellous Crozes D'Hermitage. He was especially impressed by the selection and reasonable pricing of the entire wine list (sometimes a rude surprise in other restaurants). He was so pleased by his risotto and gambas dish that he whipped out his phone and took a photo. We all had entrees, of course, and I was over the moon with mine which was César aux Gambas Black Tiger. My salmon was equally delicious and my wife loved her Joues de Porc. She and I had the inspired passion fruit crème brûlée. Our friend, being Parisian had a cheese plate and bread with his remaining wine (he had clearly thought ahead!) and opined that in France all one really needs is a good wine, bread and cheese, to complete a perfect meal. All in all, a venue and a dining experience that lived up to the Parisian reputation of memorable dining. Joseph A.

10/10This was our favorite restaurant we visited during our visit to Paris! The location is PERFECT - we watched the Eiffel Tower sparkle away as we ate our dinner. The wine was great, the cocktails were yummy, and the food was fantastic! We had the most delicious ratatouille appetizer, followed by Lamb Couscous and Lobster Bisque Pasta. The woman running the place was so kind and made our experience even more magical!

10/10Best meal I had in Paris so far! Really love foie gras’s disk. And very nice view of Eiffel Tower for our marriage anniversary’s night. 10/10This was our 4th visit to Firmin le Barbier. It is one of our favorite restaurants in Paris. The cuisine is expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Gigi, the hostess and server, is outstanding; welcoming and knowledgeable. She remembered us as we walked in, even though it had been 18 months since our last visit. That made us feel even more special. We brought friends with us and they agreed that our dinner at Firmin was one of the best of our weeklong trip. Sitting outside in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower in a truly Parisian experience. Enjoying the view while dining on amazing food is incomparable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
