The atmosphere is very nice and the staff were very nice to us even though my partner didn't speak any French. As I am vegetarian, it is always a gamble to find a chef who makes something creative outside of the usual risotto offering. I was surprised to read so many great reviews after eating there as I found the food not so good. My meal was a baked potato sliced on top of some poorly flavored risotto, I am still left with the memory of the last thing I ate there which was some kind of swiss cheese in ice cream. Yuk

We had a vegetarian menu and a chef tasting menu of the day, and both were of excellent quality throughout. The service is friendly, just that the food explanations are a bit too quick, so that they tend to be very difficult to recall. One point to improve on is the waiting time between courses, which seemed a bit long. Overall, for a 5-course menu we spent almost 3 hours, of which about 2 hours was waiting time. A big plus was that the chef came out to greet the guests. With its outstanding food the restaurant should be considered for a Michelin Star soon.

Perfect service and excellent cuisine ! It leaves nothing to be desired ! The relation between price and quality is very positive! This restaurant is for me a quality restaurant that deserves one star Michelin !

Very nice atmosphere! The staff was kind and helpful. A great carte of wines ! The food was also very good! We chose the surprise menu and liked more the entrance than the main dish, but it was still good - desert was perfect.

Very good just a litter bit long with th e delivery of glass of wine! But everything else was perfect don’t change at all!!!!!! Wonderful food and creative. Even the amuse bouche left us amazed. The outside was very discreet and we were surprised to see such original decor. We’ll go back for sure. Great value for money.

A group of 6 of us, family friends, spent a delightful evening enjoying wonderful food and wine outside at a table situated just in front of the restaurant on the village square. Most enjoyable. Service was friendly and efficient. We all decided we must return again for another great evening together.

A very good quality restaurant with state of the art menus. The interior is quite dull which has a negative influence on the atmosphere. Moreover it was too warm in the restaurant, the air inside was quite sticky! So that’s a pity because the kitchen is A-one! Also service is perfect !’

Nice mix of atmosphere, modern decoration in a nice ancient building. Dishes were creative with interesting mixtures of flavors, textures and colors. We wanted to be surprised and let the chef decide for us. It went well. We took the same line for wines which were interesting without being astonishing. Cheese (all Swiss) not really enthralling, Sweets were nice. Overall a good and pleasant evening,. We would however suggest to serve a better bread and not this rock-hard made at home product that was served stubborningly throughout dinner in spite of our negative remarks from first course. Maybe this negative aftertaste is what will remain as salient memory of this evening in a few months, rather than the perfect “Dos de maigre rôti à la peau en velours de café et sauge”....dommage

The brasserie of "Le Cerf" is VERY small, noisy as very crowded tables & no background music. The red wine is served much too cold, and wine list wasn't up-to-date. On a positive note, they offered "valet" parking (excellent) and a lovely dessert with a candle, for our wedding anniversary, as well as the coffee.

we were in a party of 5; we opted for the 55 CHF menu (starter, main corse, cheese or desseRt). Service was professional and friendly. Everything was fine. Most of us didn't like the icecream (à la reine de prés) in the peche melba rivisited, we told the waiter and they offer us the coffee! only oone minor point I asked for a 37,5 bottle of Cornalin, it was not there, they suggested me a syrah (it was good.... but I will never know whether the cornalis would have been better!)
