10/10What a wonderful experience! 10/10 recommend Florantia. The owner was so gracious to us, taking time to share his stories with us. His beautiful wife cooks the meals and his son helps run the restaurant, adding to the unique family-owned experience. The food was delicious and our large group of 11 felt right at home. Thank you for a wonderful dinner in Florence!

Super cozy place with limited number of tables, perfect for a romantic/relaxing dinner. Antonio and his son provided an amazing service and food. Everything was absolutely great, from the Antipasto Toscano to the Chianti Classico to the Bistecca (one the best we have ever had). A 10/10 experience that made our Valentine's Day a huge success! Absolutely recommend and super looking forward to coming again.

Antonio, the host and owner of the restaurant is a very nice and kind gentleman, very helpful with the selection of the dishes and very cheering to any tourist who seems to be troubled by how he will pronounce any dish selection. His wife is manning the kitchen and his son is serving the tables, a small family spot with big hearty, homemade like meals for anyone to enjoy!

We visited on a quiet Sunday in January, and had a lovely evening. The proprietor was welcoming and attentive, the food was quite good, and the prices very reasonable. We loved the seafood risotto in particular. And it’s in a great location — easy to get to and convenient to everything in the city center.

10/10A charming, family restaurant with Dad at the front of the house, Mom in the kitchen, and their son running in between. We had a very enjoyable experience. The pasta vongole was excellent…the best on this trip. The ribollita was warm and comforting on a chilly night. Orata was on the lemony side but the pork scallopine with porcini was tasty. Tiramisu was rich and light. Complimentary limoncello made in house was perfect.

10/10I am a student in Milano, I came here for a 2 days solo trip. This restaurant was the one that I felt the most comfortable as a woman, moreover, the food and thenservice was amazing. In Milano, I had the chance to try very good places, still they were never good as here. I heard about it from a friend who studies here. If you ever come to Florence, you have to try here. The prices are reasonable, the food is amazing(Even though normally I find secondo piatti heavy, here I even ate a starter, a meat and a dessert.) and the staff was very kind to me. They even offeres limencello.

We thoroughly enjoyed this family owned restaurant. My partner had the regional favorite boar ragu with mushrooms over pasta followed by the red wine Tuscan beef stew. I had the Ribiolla soup followed by a large grilled vegetable salad. We shared a bottle of Montepulchiano. Well priced and very friendly.

A very warm welcome with a sense of humor from Antonio. A comprehensively full menu with lots of Tuscan specialties, such as papa al pomodoro zuppa, `peposa beef and pepper stew (an historically important dish..delicious too) , classic bistecca with the flexibility for one person to order it (usually it is required that 2 or more people do), ribollita and more. I had a tender perfectly cooked filet with green pepper sauce. The prices are modest. The place is small, so reservations are essential. We will definitely return.

+2The restaurant is cute and cozy - it's small but that doesn't make it loud. The dining room was about 90% capacity during our stay and I never lost the ability to speak with my wife. The food was incredible. We ordered mixed crostini to share as an antipasti. My wife ordered the butter/sage ravioli and I had the porcini risotto, both were wonderful. For secondi, my wife ordered the fried seafood and I had the peposo. Arguably some of the best meat I've had on our trip. We shared tiramisu to finish our dinner. The service was great. The owner/manager mostly took care of us but there was a second server who was just as attentive and friendly. I cannot find a criticism with this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Florence. Well, I guess my only criticism is that is hard to find. We walked by it once without realizing it before circling back. Still, incredible food and people.

10/10Florentia is a true find — a cozy, family-run restaurant serving fantastic homemade pasta and authentic Tuscan dishes. Every plate tasted fresh and full of love, and the service was friendly, personal, and full of charm. They made a point of saying how much they welcome dogs, which added to the warmth and relaxed, family feel. Authentic, welcoming, and delicious — a perfect Florentine experience we can’t wait to repeat.

The whole family was very kind with great service and wonderful food. Smaller restaurant so recommend a reservation but this keeps it more intimate. Must try the ribollita soup and the Florentine steak!

+1Words can’t describe how amazing this restaurant was. I’ve been to Italy 4+ times in cities like Venice, Rome, Milan, Bologna, etc. NEVER have I had a meal so delicious (In which the bar is already set so high in Italy) If you are in Florence this is the ULTIMATE choice!

This was my best meal while in Italy. We came for the steak Florentine. It was divine. Our friends had the pasta and loved it. The owner was super attentive. The dessert was also superb. Would definitely go back next time in Florence.

10/10The food was all good, but the Tuscany beef stew was amazing! It was the best thing we’ve ever had in a while. Bistecca was also very good, overall a very nice dining experience. Also, the lovely people of this restaurant was amazing to us and our fussy baby as well, we will have a special place in our hearts for them. Can’t wait to go back to Florence and this place soon!
