We’d eat here again. It wasn’t the white tablecloth restaurant experience we thought it’d be… should have known when we saw the ‘Pizzaria’ sign. No worries though; the food and prices were great, & father and son service was excellent.

10/10This is a hidden gem! We are blown away by the quiet warmth of the service, the quality of the food, the relaxed atmosphere and the low prices of the menu, considering the expensive area. The Florentine steak is exceptional. As well as the traditional fagioli with Tuscan oil. We can recommend the local vermentino wine as chosen by our host and the limoncello spritzer. The chocolate dessert was wonderful: light yet rich. The tiramisu was super rich and creamy with a strong coffee flavor. I look forward to returning.

10/10Spent 4 nights in Florence and this was BY FAR the best food I had the whole trip!!! The staff were so friendly and attentive and you truly cannot beat the price! The carbonara was the AMAZING!! Will definitely be recommending Florentia to everyone I know visiting Florence!

10/10Great location and even better service. Small family run business with incredible pasta dishes. One small hiccup only was the florentine steak. It didn’t seem to be the best cut and it was a bit overcooked. Otherwise, a near perfect experience.

9.5/10Amazing food, great price for what you received. Quality food. I would definitely go back. Personal service. Took 1/2 star away just because it’s busy and it’s a 2 man show that I could tell. One young guy cooking, delivering the food also refilled our wine and saw him doing multiple other things. Then the owner seats guests and takes orders. He’s very personable and friendly. The place is small not many tables but all were full. This made it hard for him to keep up with needs of each table. Overall it was amazing and I say go, but do make a reservation!

9.5/10We entered and the owner happily greeted us. We were seated, and he joyfully interacted with us. We ordered our dinners and a bottle of wine, and our conversations with him continued. We had lasagna, ravioli with truffle sauce, pasta with boar sauce, and pasta with a ragu sauce, all were very good, especially the pasta noodles in the ragu sauce. The wine was a 2015, so he decanted it for us. For dessert we had tiramisu and panna cotta with berry sauce. Both were absolutely delicious. He offered us a complimentary after dinner drink. Three of us had limoncello and I had grappa, which I had never experienced before. The limoncello was great, and I now know I will never order grappa again, as it's like drinking pure alcohol. The owner was delightful, and the chef, his wife, does a fantastic job. We would definitely go there again. Make sure you get a reservation, as we watched many people get turned away, and we were there on the early side because we had an early flight in the morning.

I was looking for a cosy, traditional, local Italian restaurant and it didn't disappoint me. Excellent food, service we felt so welcomed! The owner and his son were lovely! it's a family business and they care so much for the satisfaction of their clients.

Such a cute mom, pop and son run restaurant. The meal was fantastic very simple but delicious dinner in a small quint space. It was exactly what I was looking for in an authentic Tuscan restaurant. They made you feel so welcome and happy to provide suggestions. Don’t expect quick but everything was worth the wait. An absolute must try.

Wow! Best food we’ve had in Florence, hands down. We tried the Cacio e Pepe and the Carbonara and they both were fantastic. We then had the try the Florence steak and let me tell you….15/10!!! It was such a good steak and cooked to perfection at medium rare. Please don’t order medium well or well done. Someone near us did that and I could hear Italians dying in the background. This place is a gem and we are so glad we found it. They could charge double the price for the quality of this food. Super friendly and attentive. It’s a small family that owns and runs it which makes it all the better. Highly recommend!!

We shared the two person steak option with salad and potatoes and it was so good, the steak just was so tender and full of flavour. Followed by a dreamy light tiramisu. The staff and service was also great, attentive, warm and friendly. Would definitely highly recommend this super little restaurant from the many to choose from in Florence.

10/10This was a fantastic small restaurant in the back streets of Florence. We didn’t feel up to the challenge of a Forentine steak but opted for a 200g one each and both were cooked to perfection and came with delicious sauces. On top of this the service was friendly and patient so overall we had a good evening meal. Definitely one to recommend.
