8/10the mixed fish plate is great, especially the perfectly cooked salmon portion of it. Their sardines dish is what it is; poor. Their coconut desert is light and has a wonderful subtle taste, that can erase the poor sardines aftertaste.

10/10Excellent food that is worth waiting the long line. Unfortunately, the octopus ran out when we went. Instead, we ordered the squid and a mixed fish plate and they were delicious. Better than we thought.

We visited Floresta Das Escadinhas for the second time and were once again absolutely delighted. The food was fantastic-our table enjoyed the sardines, chorizo, ribs, and octopus, and every dish was fresh and full of flavor. A special thanks goes to Augusto, who made us feel truly welcome. His friendly and attentive service really stood out and made our meal even more enjoyable. You can tell he cares about his guests and takes pride in his work. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, and the prices are very fair for the quality you get. We can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Portuguese food and warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

9.5/10From start to finish, everything was very positive & accommodating. A month prior to our trip to Lisbon, I had read on TA what a terrific restaurant this was & my personal experience turned out to be no different. Initially, it didn't appear there was availability for the day we needed (March 27). Upon emailing "Floresta Das Escadinhas" everything changed. By the next day, I received their prompt response encouraging me to pursue "The Fork" reservation site again. Upon so doing, I was able to book desired day & time without any problem. On the day of our arrival at the restaurant, we had the further pleasure of having Augusto as our waiter. Such a wonderful lunch - and Augusto's care & attentiveness to every detail & every one of our needs has so much to do with this! The food was absolutely delicious - mixed grilled fish, octopus, Vingo Verdi, & pastel de nata cheesecake. Thank you to everyone, especially Augusto, for making this our favorite meal while in Lisbon!

2/10Overrated place, with a big hype on social media. The food is average, the service inexistent, is crowded and you eat one next to each other. The owners of this kind of places “tourist trap” should invest in all the aspects of a restaurant that is full house every day, starting with kitchen equipment, renovation of all the place, qualified chefs and trainings for service staff. And at the end of the meal, maybe a smile and a thank you for the guests, because without them, your business equal zero. Very disappointed, we book some weeks in advance :(

8.5/10I enjoyed the food. It was simple and flavorful. The bean soup was made with a potato base. The octopus risotto was good, but a bit salty for my taste. The sardines, though not in season, were my favorite. It is a small restaurant, so I was able to get friendly with table next to me.

5/10Greeted by the waitress with rudeness. Threatening to cancel our reservation because my husband was 3min late even though we arrived early. No customer service skills, these restaurants being hyped up by reviews and they think they can operate with bad attitude. Food was ok nothing special, inside restaurant was rustic and compact, basically have your food & go. Didn’t bother with desserts nor more drinks. Will not recommend nor come back in the future.

7.5/10I ordered the grilled squids. Squid were good but floating in oil (not olive oil) which was disappointing. The crème caramel for desert was too heavy
