9/10Our meals were delicious with one exception - a rice dish was significantly undercooked. We returned it, but as expected, a new dish would have taken 20-30 minutes to cook so we opted to just go without. Otherwise, our experience was great.

8/10We sat down early at 7 and the restaurant was very quiet, slight confusion with ordering meant we only had one starter, I had the green beans which were superb , and the highlight of the evening. Main I had salt cod which was good, with a white bean side which was very pleasant, my husband had the steak which tasted wonderful.

10/10I had an incredible dinner! The highlight was the Pão de Ló with ice cream - perfectly soft, moist and paired with the most delicious ice cream. The food was exceptional, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I’ll definitely be back!

7.5/10The restaurant looks interesting inside. Very black. The bread basket wasn’t very interesting though. Oysters held high class. Our two fish mains tasted really good and so did the brûlée. What disturbed us a bit was the uncomfortable seating and the overall service. We had to ask for wine list and other list. Our service man was stressed and behaved somehow strange. Maybe first day on this job? So we expected more from visit.

+1Alexandre Silva's Fogo is a restaurant where everything is cooked with fire in the traditional way. We started with the couvert, which consisted of bread with olive oil, smoked butter, peppers and pickles. Everything was good. This was followed by the Alentejo pork cutlet with oven rice and the octopus à lagareiro. The meat was spot on, but the rice was disappointing. It lacked flavor and needed more time in the oven. The octopus was tender and the accompanying potatoes were delicious. It was a good meal without being excellent, mainly due to the slowness of the kitchen.

Food was good as usual, heads up for the oysters and the “Croquete de Borrego” as starters. Octopus was perfectly cooked. Service is great as all the staff is very nice and very much willing to make you feel good.

The quality of the food was poor considering it was once a Michelin starred restaurant. Seriously needs improvement Service was good however the front of house can't work miracles when the kitchen let's them down massively Cooking with an open fire is an art and should only be done with a skilled hand. Best to avoid until they improve it

Food is average, nothing really special for the price. It is not bad, but nothing really impressive. However, lemonade and creme brûlée were great. Service is great/regular and it is a beautiful place.

10/10 fantastic food with perfectly balanced flavours, top notch service and great ambiance. So glad to have found this place, we booked again for lunch for our last day, they were kind enough to give us a reservation at the time we needed even though they were fully booked. Highly recommend!

6/10The atmosphere was very flat and quiet which was unusual. The service was okay, but not really engaging. The food started well, but the option of the steak was not very good to be honest. It was very tough to eat and not really the standard you would expect for this type of restaraunt.

6.5/10starter very good, good bread but served cold. Ordered meat medium rare, received rare and 1/5 inedible due to nerves. Good roasted potatoes. I would rate 3 stars but since price is higher than average I rate 2.

10/10We visit Fogo every year as part of our annual pilgrimmage to Lisbon and it is always the highlight of the visit. The staff is amazing and very friendly and helpful. And the steaks are beyond, best ever, and we eat a lot of steaks. As it was also a birthday celebration this year we were treated to complimentary after dinner drinks, which were scrumptious. I can't wait to go back next year!! Thanks for another enjoyable experience.

9.5/10We expected to have great food but the cocktails and wine selection were fantastic, as well. We shared the black pork ribeye and rice and added a side salad. It was all delicious, likely the best pork we’ve ever had. The strawberries and crème for dessert and a glas of port were the perfect finishing note. Highly recommend.
