10/10Went for my daughter’s 20th birthday. And the staff made her feel so special! Food was delicious! By far the best food we had in Italy. Cannot praise this restaurant enough! It is a must visit when in Florence!

10/10I’ve had the pleasure of dining at some of the most highly rated restaurants in the world and this place impressed me tremendously. We had two of the pasta dishes, a risotto dish and the bistecca and they were amazing. Enjoyed it with a 2019 Poggio Al Tesoro which paired perfectly. Service was outstanding too.

10/10We’ve been all around the Tuscany area for the last week and have eating some very excellent meals. My husband and I both agree on this being the best. Greta service and every happy people everywhere.

10/10Our group dinner was superb! We were seated in the wine room which was lovely. Each of our meals were so delicious, and especially the Steak Florentine! Service was very attentive. Highly recommended!

9/10Lovely restaurant and such friendly staff! They went the extra mile and as it was my birthday they gave us a candlelit dessert which was delicious and thoughtful! The florentine steak was a little fatty for my liking but other food was great and a fab aperol spritz!

8.5/10The restaurant is geared to tourists not italians. I found the food tasty, but too salty. THe plates are nicely prepared and visually appealling. However for an italian they are over prepared. The service was not so attentive.

10/10One of our best meals in Italy. The chicken wrapped in prosciutto was divine, outshined only by the truffle potatoes. We also loved the beef carpaccio and pasta with wild boar. Delicious!!

10/10Nice family dinner with homemade pasta, good steak and beef stew, variety of salads. Took a long time for mains to come but was good service and quality table setting, upscale atmosphere, yet our teens were fine dressed casually.

10/10My wife and I were on honeymoon here and were recommended to go to Francesco Vini by a few friends who raved about this place. We made reservations and were greeted by Fabio and treated like special guests immediately upon our arrival. Our server was incredibly attentive and made some great wine recommendations. We started with the Coscoli con Prosciutto e Stracchino and the Baccala' alla Fiorentina su Pappa al Pomodoro. I have never had fish cooked so perfectly in my life and the tomato and bread soup paired wonderfully with it. We followed this with the Bistecca alla Fiorentina. If you don’t order this, you are missing out. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly and I can’t imagine ever having a better steak Florentine. We finished with Affogato al Caffe’ which was exactly what we wanted it to be. A perfect way to end a perfect meal. The service, ambiance, and food made this one of the best meals we have had in Italy. We will be recommending all of our friends here as well in the future.

10/10As a solo diner I was a little nervous eating alone, but the staff at Francesco Vini made me feel extremely welcomed and comfortable. I’m gluten free so there were plenty of options for me to eat. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. Thank you.

10/10We found this restaurant during a walk to the Basilica di Santa Maria Novella. The steaks in the window looked good so we returned for dinner. My wife and I indulged in a large Florentine steak (T-bone), truffle mashed potatoes, and mixed salad. The truffle mashed potatoes were excellent. And we enjoyed the perfectly cooked steak. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. Wait staff speaks English. Other items on the menu looked great. Will definitely return.

10/10This restaurant was a great place. The owner showed us the wine cellar and made us feel so special. The food was excellent and the waiter was attentive and spoke English perfectly - definately a return visit when we come back.
