+2We never imagined we would dine here three times but the food and ambiance at this restaurant were too good to risk dining elsewhere! It’s safe to say that this was our favorite restaurant during the week we spent in Florence.

Good food. Good service. Some of the adjacent diners were very loud. Not the restaurant's fault.

This is our 3rd time in Florence in two year and sixth visit to Francesco Vini. That should say it all. In short: delicious Tuscan food grat wine selection, outstanding service and nostalgic building. Can’t go wrong. We’ll be there again(7th) tomorrow.

Made a 9 pm reservation. Last one to be seated for the night. Dinner was outstanding. Caesar salad, duck Ragu pasta and the gnudi pasta. Highly recommend but server was more attentive to his cleaning up his station for the night than his guests. Food was what we went for but I can see why they don’t tip for service in Italy.

+1FrancescoVini has been a favorite of mine for as long as I’ve been coming to Florence. The food is delicious, the servers are friendly and knowledgeable, and the overall experience is perfetto!

We’ve eaten here 3-4 other times but this time we were in a beautiful room covered in wine bottles and got a tour of the wine cellar where we could see the ruins of the Roman Amphitheater! Amazing! Food and service as wonderful as always!

The food was excellent. We did push the boat out, and ordered the bistecca, which was very nicely done. Our waiter went out of his way to make the experience a pleasant one, also making an informed and sensible suggestion to help us navigate the extensive wine list. We’d love to visit again

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Florence. The food is creative, tasty and wonderful. The service is always top notch. We always look forward to our meals - we have been for lunch and dinner.

Went for my daughter’s 20th birthday. And the staff made her feel so special! Food was delicious! By far the best food we had in Italy. Cannot praise this restaurant enough! It is a must visit when in Florence!

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at some of the most highly rated restaurants in the world and this place impressed me tremendously. We had two of the pasta dishes, a risotto dish and the bistecca and they were amazing. Enjoyed it with a 2019 Poggio Al Tesoro which paired perfectly. Service was outstanding too.

We’ve been all around the Tuscany area for the last week and have eating some very excellent meals. My husband and I both agree on this being the best. Greta service and every happy people everywhere.

Fabulous meal at Francesco Vini. Great wine selections, delicious food and wonderful waitstaff! We got to eat outside behind the restaurant and it was lovely. Highly recommend.

Our group dinner was superb! We were seated in the wine room which was lovely. Each of our meals were so delicious, and especially the Steak Florentine! Service was very attentive. Highly recommended!

Lovely restaurant and such friendly staff! They went the extra mile and as it was my birthday they gave us a candlelit dessert which was delicious and thoughtful! The florentine steak was a little fatty for my liking but other food was great and a fab aperol spritz!

Welcoming, attentive wait staff, who made terrific suggestions. We loved the beef stew. Altogether a wonderful experience.

The restaurant is geared to tourists not italians. I found the food tasty, but too salty. THe plates are nicely prepared and visually appealling. However for an italian they are over prepared. The service was not so attentive.

One of our best meals in Italy. The chicken wrapped in prosciutto was divine, outshined only by the truffle potatoes. We also loved the beef carpaccio and pasta with wild boar. Delicious!!
