Bland and overpriced food. Overated by atleasy 2 points in Hsullt et Millau. Avoid! Plenty of other good restaurants in Nice.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant! The cuisine is exquisite and refined — every dish is a delight. The service is always warm and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I’m always impressed every time I visit this place!

We have enjoyed Franchin for many years. Service has actually gotten better with a larger serving staff. They are friendly and efficient. While we love the classic interior, the outdoor patio is very tempting while the weather permits. Some pleasant piano music from across the street enhances the experience. The kitchen quality has always been consistently high. Prices are getting higher too, but mostly justified,

The Grand Marnier Soufflé was so good, I’d return tomorrow just to have it again, and the day after that and the day after that, etc! And yes, it is a classical French soufflé! Parfait!

Wonderful dinner and personalized attention from the chef. We went with a group and it worked out well with large table in middle of place.

Staff super attentive and present. food is really overpriced but quality is good. the only negative was seeing a small dog run around the restaurant including in the kitchen....for me unacceptable on hygiene level. also having a tablecloths instead of eating directly on wooden table would have been appreciated

I experienced kind and attentive service. I sat at an outdoor table with a wonderful ambiance. The dishes made me feel like I was having a fine dining experience. The main server recommended a local house wine, and it was also good. You should trust her recommendations.

I sat outside in a beautiful night across the street from another restaurant that had piano playing. How delightful. The service was impeccable as was the food. A wonderful experience.

Nice atmosphere , a classic and elegant dining room . We’ve visited this restaurant before , both when the former chef and the previous chef were working. The entrées tonight ( paté and burrata respectively) tasted good .4 p. For main course we took Royal Dove . The dove was cooked perfect. The dish was not enough balanced in salt sour sweet bitter, structure and colours . We think that the endives were too prominent and soft. We would hade liked more crisp and a some more fruity companion. 3,5 p Service -good . 4,5 points. We appreciated also the company of the restaurants dog! 4 points in total.

The waitresses are very friendly and helpful. Foods are very high standard. A bit more expensive than other restaurants, but its really a quality dining experience.

Twas once my favourite restaurant in Nice. Today, it’s a tourist trap - the new faces that wait the tables don’t really understand the menu let alone give the right recommendations. I ended up with 2 starters and left the restaurant still hungry and disappointed. portion and quality of food has declined vs past visits. Maybe Twas 1 unfortunate visit vs 11 good ones, 🤷🏻♀️

My wife and I returned to Franchin in May -24, after a wonderful experience last year. Both the kitchen and the waiters delivered the same high level this year too. The ambience is classic French and embracing. We enjoyed every minute.

We booked this restaurant 20 minutes before we arrived via The Fork as the heavens had opened! What a result! We have been in France for 10 days now and this has been our best experience to date! Fantastic food, service and the most beautiful environment. Fantastic lunch, would highly recommend.

We were returning after a great meal a year ago on our last visit. The food was superb as was the service. We will return. It is our favourite restaurant in Nice.

First of all, the staff denied that they get the changes from 2 to 4 persons and we have had real hard discussion about that. They ask us to go to next restaurant! Finally they organized our table. The restaurant well decorated, but a little bit noisy, and air conditioning was not working properly (too hot). The fish (sea bass) is over, so we took octopus (recommended), blue crab salad (too many mayonnaise) and vegetable salad with burrito. Final score- a little bit above moderate.

The service and ambience was good. The food quality and taste was okay but below my expectation especially thinking of the price. Expensive than the quality of food and no glass wine.

An absolute treat as ever to be served delicious food accompanied by perfectly recommended wine by the sommelier. Our fifth visit to this characterful and beautiful restaurant.
