From booking the table online to paying the bill on leaving was an absolute joy. The most amazing food, friendly and knowledgeable staff and great ambience. I would most heartedly encourage people to book when you're in Olhos D'agua. We'll be back next year on our next Olhos D'agua visit. Thank you all for a lovely evening

The prawn and octopus starters were excellent my belly pork was either over cooked or poor quality my wife’s sea bream was very good but both mains sides were pretty bland a bit disappointing considering the favourable reviews

One of our party is coeliac and the server was very knowledgeable. They knew exactly what they could eat safely. Makes such a difference. The food was incredible and all the staff were lovely.

We booked well in advance which was just as well as it was pretty much full at 8pm on a Tuesday. The vibe and the service were good and the food was excellent. My wife declared that her sea bream in a mussel bisque followed by the chocolate orange mousse was her meal of the holiday. The short rib Irish stew was very tasty and the home made desserts were really really good.

Our food was delicious, the ambience was perfect, and the chef/restaurant were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions and still deliver such a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant had actually sent me a detailed email ahead of time about how they would be able to accommodate me, which was so thoughtful and much appreciated. The other two people at my table didn't have any dietary restrictions, and everyone enjoyed his/her meal equally! 🙏Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! 🙏

Lovely meal as always. Franks is a great restaurant with a beautiful decor and ambience. The staff are attentive and friendly without being intrusive. We all ate different dishes including the Mussels, Octopus, Pork croquettes, Belly pork, Chicken supreme, the Beef stew and the Seabass which were all lovely. My only criticism would be the lack of vegetables with the chicken supreme and the Pork croquettes were a little over cooked this time. Other than that a very lovely meal.

Hey sports fans ......here we are with you once again. We've traveled to the beautiful part of the Algarve about 15km outside of Albufeira to our favorite local restaurant Franks. A hidden gem. A little hidden but well worth the effort to seek it out. As usual, the staff are exceptionally polite, knowledgeable and after a busy and hectic day it's an oasis of calm as soon as you step through the door. The restaurant is running it's summer menu. Please see photograph attached. It's concise but perfectly formed, from the home made bread and butter through to the mains which vary from Irish stews to pan fried bass and cauliflower fritters. The simplicity belies the depth and balance of flavour. I would highly recommend this place as this is our fourth visit here and every time the consistent quality is something to be envied by all other restaurants in the local area. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

The seabass was fresh…..from the freezer! Very small portion. The chicken plate was so sad, with some « brick » of potatoes fried outside and tasting nothing inside but the worst was that the chicken was so bad…very dry and with a fried skin. Horrible. When we share this to the waitress, she simply said that she will tell the cook. I will never recommend this restaurant.

High quality restaurant food, not Michelin level, but top of the next level down I would say. Great for us on a couples night, doing something a bit more special than the usual. We will be going back again and we would recommend to couples or families alike. Lovely service as well. Thanks to the Franks team

This was our second visit to Frank’s. We really like the ambience, food and service of this place. I’ve enjoyed the Chicken Supreme and the Sea Bass during my visits. My husband really liked the Irish Stew. Their house red or white wine are very good with any meal. We splurged and had the Chocolate - Orange mousse and Port wine for dessert. Excellent value for our money here. We recommend it!

The restaurant itself is lovely, the decor, the lighting and music. Everyone who works there are welcoming and helpful. Best of all the food was wonderful! Definitely the best we've been to.
