The service was amazing. Very thoughtful as we waited for a table he brought us an appetizer. The food outstanding and we found out he is a sommelier. No wonder we enjoyed the wine selection. Don’t forget to try the lemon cello as its house made and better than we’ve had anywhere. Grazie mille

Great place, just a little too tight for space

A neighborhood gem! We were looking for an authentic, local restaurant away from the big name Roman establishments. Fraschetteria was perfect. The food was fresh, local and delicious. The small space (only 6-8 tables) added to the relaxed ambiance and general cheerfulness. The staff and proprietor were friendly and helpful and we would definitely return on our next trip to Rome.

Charming but small. They had the wrong reservation time and we had to wait outdoors. Food was amazing but a very large LOUD group took over the restaurant and we could not hear each other

The restaurant forget our reservation, give our table to other people. We ended up eating in an improvised table in a neighbor. It was a nightmare. I don’t recommend. Bad experience.

Tiny little restaurant with a low-key entrance. But what an amazing night! So relaxed and truly authentic. Service friendly and attentive without pestering. Modest menu but everything we ate was the best we had all weekend in Rome. A fabulous place that definitely made our weekend.

When you approach the place, you wouldn’t think much about the place but as soon as you go in it’s amazing. Nothing fancy. But the host, the food and the buzz were amazing. I’d go back any time. A place to go in good company. Just go and you will not be disappointed.

Thankfully, other reviewers mentioned this “hole in the wall“ that they loved. We were attracted to the restaurant by great reviews, and we were very pleased with the meal we enjoyed. Those who had given such high reviews were right.

Delightful and cozy basement level restaurant with amazing food. The service was excellent and friendly, and all the courses came at a well paced speed. Will definitely return to this restaurant!

Cosy, non touristy spot with great food. Tiramisu ( both classic and with pistachio) were outstanding. Carbonara was way better than at a fancy hotel restaurant I made the mistake of eating at the night before. Small place, so reservations essential if you don’t want to wait.
