6/10We were disappointed. We had reservations and there were 2 table open and we were told we had to wait. Finally got our table and we had to wait. Another three tables were filled after us and lo and behold they were served and waited on before us. No silverware or plates on the table like the other tables. We asked for 2 plates and silverware and we only received the silverware. No plates. Drink order was taken and we got the wrong drinks. We just accepted that this is the norm. Oh let’s not forget losing power 3 times. Very disappointed.

7/10Well. This is not a recommendation… but the positives first: the food was good. Not exceptional but good. And then the other part. Long story short: we got the reservation for 7pm. Few hours before, we got an email (no call, no sms…) that it was postponed to 7.30. Went there at 7.30 and the group in our table (head waiter showed us the table) we finalising their dinner. We were adviced to wait ”just few minutes” in a wine bar next door ”we will let you know asap”. After 15mins we asked: ”we are almost ready”. After 30mins I went inside to se the situation: there were other people sitting in the table ”they didn’t have the reservation but had been waiting from 6pm…”. So they gave the table to some group with no reservation. Finally we got our table 1,5h after the resevation and it was 4pers table for our group of six. Unfortunately we didn’t have any option (other restaurant) but to wait.

9.5/10The food here is fantastic. We visited twice during our stay. The simple menu means all the ingredients are fresh and each dish was beautifully prepared and presented. The wines are excellent and available to purchase upstairs. The only negative is due to the size and popularity of the restaurant your time on the table is limited. Our second visit was on a Friday evening and the food was served very quickly and there was pressure to vacate the table for those queuing down the stairs! We were out in less than an hour. So not somewhere to go for a long leisurely evening!

8.5/10Make sure you book a reservation. Very cool space, very small. Felt a little rushed vs other places, but the food was quite nice. I would go again, but get dessert drinks elsewhere

10/10My husband and I completely enjoyed our time at this restaurant. The Cesar salad was delicious. It was made with arugula and to my surprise was an upgrade to the typical romaine based we are used to. The Lasagna was amazing! My husband had the tagliatelle with truffle and enjoyed it but he “stole” my lasagna and finished it:) We ended with tiramisu and chocolate pistachio cake and both were 5 stars! Go here, you won’t regret it.

Love this place so much, we went two nights in a row! Excellent service, personable waiter who gave us great suggestions. We had the selection of bruschetta, pasta carbonara and lasagne. All delicious! We had tiramisu and a delicious chocolate cake for dessert. Service is quick and attentive. Make reservations because there’s always a group waiting.

9/10This little hole in the wall was a great find! The gnocchi and black truffle tagliatelle were delicious. The pistachio tiramisu was also tasty! It was very busy at the 8:30/9 pm hour with a line outside, so be sure to snag a resy for one of the 7 tables they offer.

5.5/10The menu was rather limited. Gnocchi was excellent but the rest were just average. The place is underground with limited seats. Service was ok but not great. Overall, an average restaurant

Hidden Gem!!! We had one of our favourite meals here in this authentic Italian cosy restaurant. Great food, teamed with excellent service and atmosphere. Please book to avoid disappointment as when we left there was a que outside hoping that a table would become free from a no show!! Fantastic place and we will be back :)

10/10This is such a wonderful place to eat! It is off the beaten track, and only has a few tables, but that just makes it even more special. The staff are very kind and helpful, and the food was delicious. I chose the Tagliatelle with Mushrooms and Black Truffle, a green salad, and a Tiramisu. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted divine.

+1After a long day of walking, we stumbled upon this literal hole in the wall. Although it only has seven tables, it was a really cool vibe and the food was unbelievable. We went two nights in a row, and it just continued to impress. Would highly recommend this and have seen several people say this is the best food in Rome, and I certainly couldn't disagree.

Excellent food with authentic and high quality flavors. Very friendly and courteous staff. The server even helped us pick wine to buy from the wine store after dinner. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an authentic and family style Italian dinner. The only reason the review is not 10/10 is because the restaurant was very hot. We were sweating through dinner and it took away from the experience, but was overall still worth it. I believe the air conditioning was broken and this was not a typical experience.

9.5/10The food was absolutely outstanding. One of, if not the best meals I’ve had in my time spent in Italy. Tables turn over more quickly than most Italian restaurants, but they need to as seating is very limited and demand is high.

A hidden gem (which we booked), this sweet homely little restaurant - immediately charmed us with its quaint atmosphere. The food simply incredible, bursting with authentic flavour and quality. The prices affordable. Amazing food that could rival a Michelin star experience!

8.5/10The salad called for mixed greens, green olives and croutons. Had very little croutons and not one single olive and very little oil. The food was very good and the waiter worked non stop serving all six tables. The desserts were excellent.

10/10A small restaurant in a casual setting and tucked away nicely down a side street almost hides the true treasure: Superior food. I would return again quite happily!!!
