10/10Very small hidden restaurant just off of the main street. You will need to make reservations to guarantee a table, there is only about 10 tables. The service and food was excellent. Loved the lasagna.

10/10wow this place was great. the service was perfecto. For the number of tables, I was surprised they were okay with us reserving for 6. But they got us right in. The food was amazing and made us sad they were closed the next day. Otherwise, we would have come back.

10/10This place is easily 10/10! The food was the best we had in Rome. Authentic, flavorful and delicious! The owner and his wife were the most accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. The lasagna, caccio e peppe, the meat & cheese board, and their appetizers we are very delicious. The place is small so make sure to have reservations before going. You will not be disappointed.

4.5/10The restaurant seems to be geared for tourists and is overpriced, while the food is mediocre at best. It does not seem to be authentically Roman and prepared with the care and pride I’ve come to expect from my many visits to Rome. The freshness and quality of ingredients was lacking. The bread was not crusty, as the traditional bread served in Rome. The red wine was served chilled. The tomato in the bruschetta was sliced, not diced (the first time I have ever seen that) and the tomatoes were not tasty. The cantaloupe in prosciutto and melone was also not particularly sweet. Not bad, but not good. My friend was also disappointed and pointed out that she believed powdered garlic was used in place of fresh garlic. I can only guess that all those who wrote positive reviews are not familiar with Roman food, as the restaurant was full of tourists. We were both disappointed and will not return.

I'm sorry you didn't have a good time with us. From what I remember the dishes came back empty and without any complaints, you could tell me at the time if something was wrong and give us the chance to repair. We only use fresh products and prepare all dishes freshly in the same time. This is why the tomato is cut into slices and seasoned at the moment and not prepared beforehand as most restaurateurs do, diced. We don't use garlic, but oregano, basilic, olio extra vergine and salt on the bruschetta! The melons are DOP fruit from Lazio and of the best quality, it may happen that among many there is some less sweet. I can assure you that we put care and passion into our business, as if we had to prepare a meal for our family. We will gladly wait for you next time Thank you Fraschetteria Giampiccolo

10/10This place is a hidden gem. The food was authentic, fresh and delicious. The menu is small, as is the space but everything we tried was amazing and that includes the local wines, recommended by the staff

9.5/10Beautiful beautiful pasta. The tagliere leaves more to be desired for the price, but the pasta is the best I've had in Italy. Excellent service, nice quiet ambience and very good drinks.

10/1010/10….Our favorite restaurant in Rome! The charcuterie board, salads, pasta dishes and tiramisu are AMAZING!! All served on beautiful dishes too. Without a doubt, the owners make you feel welcomed and give you an Italian dining experience that you will forever remember.

9.5/10Food is fabulous. We really enjoyed the dinner & ambience. Our reservation was for 6:00pm, though Google says they open at 6:30pm. When we arrived at 6:00pm, lady boss was busy cleaning windows, desks & everywhere. She asked us to wait & we waited. It finally opened around 6:30pm. This feeling is funny. The lady boss was so busy with so many customers that it makes me a bit nervous. The man was also busy & diligently preparing food. We did have to wait quite long for our food, esp dessert. Since their biz is so good, perhaps they should get 1 more person to help them. This will make our experience PERFECT.

4.5/10I wanted to like this place. Cute and quaint and close to our hotel with great reviews (4.6). Had reservations and were quickly seated but then waited for awhile to get any service... Even water. Restaurant is small and It was very hot (learned later they were having AC issues). Service was very slow. We ordered the Ceaser salad, burrata and prosciutto, and carbonara pasta. Ceaser was delicious and unique but everything else was just mediocre. The tiramusa was awful. We are pretty patient and understanding customers but the overall experience was pretty awful. Do not recommend at all.

10/10We ate here on our very first night in Italy and after spending 12 nights in Italy I think this was one of the most memorable meals. The restaurant is tiny, so our party of 7 took up a good portion of their restaurant for a good portion of the night. I (and several others) had the mushroom pasta and it was so amazingly delicious. We also had some delicious apps and shared a small chocolate cake dessert. They gave us some Limoncello and were really kind even though we took up a lot of space and were there for awhile.

10/10Amazing food and hospitality from Fabio and Valentina. We had the meat and cheese plate, which was incredible, followed by carbonara and tiramisu. Fresh, simple, spectacular. Great value. Kind and friendly owners. Highly recommended!

9/10Nice little spot, with emphasis on little. Best to have a reservation. We went there twice. Sat outside the front door on a pleasant march night when we did not have reservations . Only seating for about 10 or so inside.

10/10Wow! This gem of a restaurant has a tiny kitchen and a very busy chef but he creates amazing fresh and tasty cuisine. The bresaiolo with black truffle sauce was phenomenal. Pastas were excellent. The service was very warm and personal. Be sure to make reservations as this place fills up quickly.

10/10Nice selection of appetizers and entrees. Owner Valentina made a lovely recommendation for wine. This tiny establishment puts out big flavors and great service. The food was so good, we booked a table again two nights later. The owners are your host/waiters/ chef and sommelier, so plan to relax and enjoy your meal. Highly recommended.

10/10My husband and I chose the same place at the same time while we were looking for a restaurant to go eat after our show at the Sistina! We loved it! The owners, a very nice talented couple with an exceptionally patient little boy! Good job guys! Well be back...And by the way, thank you for making us feel younger! ☺️

10/10We wanted to eat locally and with quality ingredients, and this neighborhood spot hit all the right notes. They're a team of 2, so the staff know their limits and don't accept everyone who walks in, but rather require either a reservation, or lucky timing. We had a reservation, and didn't feel like they were rushing us out the door to make way for the next party. Instead, we felt that the food was curated, prepared thoughtfully, and well priced. It's a simple menu and operation, and that made it all the more endearing.

10/10Great local restaurant, family run, owner cooking all dishes , did not stop all night . Small menu , indicating authentic meals cooked from scratch. Husband had roast pork, was so tender . I had caprese salad . We both had pasta for seconds, then shared a tiramisu. I had 2 glasses of the local wine and hubby had local beer, then a limoncello and a coffee to finish. Not rushed at all , just simple good cooked food

10/10This charming restaurant run by Fabio and Valentina is a hidden gem. Tucked away near Via Veneto, the owners are passionate about their work and customers. You are warmly greeted and served the most delicious plates. Eggplant Parmigiano, Truffle Crostini and Pork Arrosta were all so delicious! Reservation needed...it got busy by 7pm!

10/10Inside is delightfully quaint. Outside is quintessential Italian dining. The street is narrow and can be a bit busy with vehicles. Staff was very pleasant even though they were understaffed. We were there at 6:30. Left about 8:15, by which time a crowd had gathered to dine there. Portions were decent, especially the Cesar salad. Go early, relax and enjoy.
