9/10My daughter and I frequented this restaurant in mid-January 2024. It was a bit hard to find (at Stazione Santa Maria Novella, near the taxi stand and Italian flag outside, but go inside the train station door closest to the taxi stand and the restaurant is tucked away to the left, just as you enter the station door), and we walked around for 20 minutes looking for it. Finally called the restaurant and they gave us better directions. Anyway, we got there. The ambiance looks like a mix of both fast food restaurant and sit down restaurant. So, if you're looking for a certain restaurant 'vibe', this will not exactly do it. But, the place was fairly full of patrons (a good sign), and got 4 stars on TripAdvisor, so we wanted to try it. We had the bruschetta (delicious, olive oil soaked with lots of spiced tomatoes--yum!). We also ordered the steak (bistecca) and potatoes--two orders, one for each of us. Absolutely delicious, and about 1/2" thick when cooked, which was perfectly sized for one, seasoned and cooked (I got through half of mine and heated up the remainder in my Airbnb later--heated up very well). It came with some well-cut/V-shaped, french fries, which were delicious--crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Yummy! We also ordered 2 mojito drinks, which were good, but maybe could have used slightly more rum. So, all in all, a delicious meal and good experience. I'd definitely recommend this place. It's casual, but good, and we reserved on 'The Fork' website, which offered a 30% off discount on the meal. The entire meal, with the drinks, came to $62 euros after the 30% discount. Not bad for a full steak dinner with drinks!

8.5/10It is well used by station staff, which tells you it is good food at a reasonable price. The food was ok, but the pizza needed a couple of minutes longer to crisp the base. Pasta was ok as well. Would use again if having to wait for a train again or need somewhere convenient to the station.

5/10I thought I would save some money by going there, but it was a bad choice. Pizza isn't good. Maybe other food is better. Also other people received tangerines as "copertos". I didn't receive any. Don't know if it's normal or not.

9.5/10Had a few doubts about going here as it in the train station but forget about those the food is excellent. We both had pizza and really one of the best we had anywhere. Can’t praise the place enough if you’re in Florence you must try. Our service was perfect couldn’t do enough

8/10Stopped here for a quick and simple dinner as it was close to our hotel. Pizzas were so delicious! We ordered one with hot salami and the margherita. Both were really yummy. Lots of trenitalia workers eat here too which I think is a good sign as they probably know where the best spots are!

9.5/10Kind staff, good Italian food, actually it's a pretty good place that exceeded my expectations, usually restaurants inside train stations are quite lousy but this one turned out to be great. We had a 50 Euro discount so it made it even better value for money.

8/10This was the third time for us to try this restaurant and the first time dining in the evening. The carbonara tasted saltier perhaps due to the more quancale in the dish. The balance was not as well as the ones we had during lunch time. Service was great however and we will return on our next trip.

6/10The food was greasy, carbonara and pizza had too much pork fat in it. I’d prefer more meat instead of just pork fat. The service was ok, nothing to complain about. Personnel was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was okay but nothing special, an ordinary station cafe.
