2.5/10So looking forward to returning to Frenzy - we visited twice before Covid and refurbishment and loved the whole experience. We were hoping for the lobster menu as advertised on website. Sadly this was not available. The lobster dishes we ordered were underwhelming- whilst we were shown a fresh lobster, the cooked dishes lacked the fresh lobster flavour and left us wondering whether what was served had been Cooked from frozen lobster. Disappointing.

10/10This restaurant is a great find. The food was interesting and innovative, very well presented with outstanding flavours. Waiting staff were very professional, attentive without being intrusive. Trust the reviews and find this place even though it is not on one of the touristy streets, we had a great experience.

10/10We had a fantastic experience, great tasting menu with 11 courses and wine pairing. Service was attentive and English speaking. Only drawback was the additional glass champagne that we ordered, for which we paid more than indicated on the menu (11€ on the bill - 8€ on the menu). Overall, we would go again. When we visited only 2 tables were occupied.

10/10I almost feel silly writing a review of this restaurant, when one word would suffice: perfect. A lot of restaurants try to do what they do, but they pulled it off. Food: perfect and creative. Service: perfect. Ambiance: terrific. We had an anniversary dinner here, and it couldn't have gone better. We've been in Alicante for a few months, have eaten at the many of the nicer restaurants, and this is by far the best so far. I wouldn't expect it to be surpassed.

10/10Frenezy is my favorite reataurant in Alicante ! The food is 1. class...french/spanish fusion..the wine list has the best wines from both France and Spain. The service is professional , friendly and they inform you about all ingredients of the food and wine. Really superb restaurant. Gracias

8/10Service: Excellent! Our host, Jose was extreamly kind and helpful. Food: Large portions, but lower quality than we expect from a fine dining restaurant. Beverage: The wine was average. I would have appreciated if we have could get to know more variants for different dishes.

If you want a fine dining experience in Alicante, this place is a must. I love lobster but in Spain they rarely prepare it correctly. Here, you can choose your live lobster from a tank and they can prepare it for you in one of 3 ways. I choose with orange sauce and it was succulent. We also had a salt encrusted Hake (merluza) fish that was outstanding. Alicante has too many pizza, hamburger, and junk food places. This is a place to enjoy fine dining in a relaxed setting with servers that want you to enjoy as well.

5/10Sadly this is not the restaurant it used to be. The refurbishment has seen the loss of the cosy atmosphere with an open kitchen now in the restaurant. I'm not sure what the point of this is as I did not see any food cooked in the open kitchen. The Iberico ham was clearly out of a vacuum pack and not hand carved as it used to be. The bread sticks were stale, the bread was a bit ragged and the starter was really over priced for what we were given. The main course of lamb was to be fair cooked beautifully but a few little potatoes scattered on the plate is hardly an accompaniment. When I asked the waiter how the potatoes were cooked he said he didn't know! Not really a good enough response from what is supposed to be a fine dining restaurant. I would also expect a bit more than a handful of tiny potatoes to complement the lamb. There was no wine list as apparently it is still being changed so we had to take a recommendation from the manager. Yet again the wine offering was not up to the previous standard. This leads me on to another change. Whilst the manager seemed amiable enough the service was a bit lacking. He certainly does not have the "je ne sais quoi" of the previous manager Xavier. He forgot the glass of cava so we then had to ask the waitress and it all just seemed a bit chaotic compared to what used to be excellent and attentive service. The lovely waitress Deliah did her best but it just felt like a ship without a captain. Sadly after 5 years of some of the most memorable meals we will not back. There are plenty of other fine dining restaurants in Alicante so Frenezy really needs to up it's game if it wants to compete.

7.5/10We were the only 5 guests for the evening, the owner was there and one waitress. The waitress performed poor, Did not lets us taste the bottles of wine we ordered, did not refill the glasses in time. Also the serving of the food to the table she performed poor. The owners prepared some dishes at the table, like Steak Tartare and Crepe Suzette. That was all very good. Also she used strange glasses for the wine / liquor. All in thr same size. Only the cava was served in a champain glass. So, all with all the food was good, not excellent, which it was before. The poor performing waitress smashed the overall experience further down…

10/10A fantastic fine-dining experience. Great service and ambience. The dishes had so many different flavours going on and were cooked to perfection. The cheesecake with a difference was a bonus. There was also a wide selection of high quality red wines to choose from.
