10/10This restaurant is really beautiful, especially eating outside with the unbeatable view. Everything we ordered was really good and well presented and the staff and service was impeccable and really kind. Definitely recommend!

10/10I’ve come to Frescobaldi for many years when they were in the old location and it’s always a wonderful experience. The food is top quality and the service is very good. Highly recommend the outdoor tables as the views in Piazza de la Signoria make for an incredible dining experience!

7/10Our Sauvignon Blanc was very good, and the branzino was delicious. The lobster linguine was average, and the appetizers were barely average. Service was attentive. There are better choices in Florence.

10/10So many things but most of all the fact that they are owned by a winemaking family and carry their delicious wines exclusively. I love Pinot noir and just 2yrs ago they began making wines in Oregon. Their OR Pinot was excellent. Will stop by the next time we are back in OR!

As a patron who values both quality dining and respectful service, I felt compelled to highlight areas requiring improvement. Firstly, while I had made a reservation in advance, we were seated in a dimly lit corner, which felt disconnected from the restaurant’s ambiance. Within five minutes of being seated, the waiter interrupted us three times, seeming to urge us to order—a pacing issue that disrupted our meal preparation. A bit rude and unfriendly for me. The culinary experience was underwhelming. Despite the premium service charge included in our bill, the portion sizes were modest, and the dishes lacked creative flair. 5 Euro per person. Around 40 Euro per person in total eventually. Most notably, the lively party atmosphere in the main dining area created excessive noise, making conversation difficult. This clashes with your restaurant’s elegant décor and positions it as more of a bar than a refined dining space. (Like a night bar)

10/10Luciano, our waiter, was so attentive yet kept his distance. He knew when to assist at the table and when to not. We asked about the family Frescobaldi and he was very willing to tell us their history. Thank you everyone for making my wife’s birthday an evening to remember!

10/10First class Italian food. Not to be missed. Enjoyed talking wine with staff who were very personable. Unbelievable stacked sliced Eggplant appetiser. Really appreciated their several choices of a flight of three wines (smaller portions than full glasses). Great chance to sample Italian wines at low cost.

10/10The service was impeccable, from how the sommelier treated the wine, from pulling the cork, decanting and finally pouring. Service was on point without being intrusive. Very pleasant personality and the setting was timeless. Plus I met a potential interesting contact.

8.5/10Our good friend, James Suckling, recommended this "cantina" to us during our recent, albeit short, stay in Firenze and it lived up to his recommendation. Dishes were nicely presented and well-prepared. The gnocchi were just al dente and quite flavorful; the rombo (turbot) was tasty but surprisingly firm. This was not the case with the bronzino (sea bass) which seemed to melt in the mouth. The zucchini fritti were a nice, garlicy side dish. The tiramisu was classic! All was nicely highlighted by one of Frescobaldi's top Ribolla Giallo wines from northern Italy. The terrace view across the square and towards the old palace was delightful, as was the service!

4.5/10I had been here on our least visit to Florence with my husband and it was great. The waiter who sat us was great. The waiter who served us acted like he could not stand 2 women dining. He would not explain the food or wine we ordered. He was just rude to us only. We observed him interacting with other patrons normally. The chicken was dry as well. I explained about chicken but nothing was done. The biscotti and dessert wine was fantastic . Worst service and meal of our 2 week vacation.

9/10This was a lovely restaurant with a convenient location in the City Center. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. Service by staff was excellent.. We had two starters of fried calamari and shrimp and beef carpaccio. Both were good. We then shared a taglioloni pasta with shaved white truffles. Pricey but delicious. Third course was the potato encrusted branzino and turbot fish with artichokes. Both were tasty. Wine list was chock full of Frescobaldi wines….it would have been nice to have a few more options. We would come back here again.

10/10This was not our first visit to Frescobaldi. The cuisine is a notch above many others, the service and ambiance are as well. Seating is extremely comfortable as the decor is entirely red velvet which was soft and warm on a rainy night. Try the calamari and shrimp appetizer you will not be disappointed. Most everything on the menu is worthy of a try.

8.5/10The food was very good and service excellent. Except: we were seated outside and no indoor option was offered. We mentioned that it was my birthday and they brought a cake w/o asking and then charge 60euros for it. Happy birthday!!

5.5/10WE DO NOT RECOMMEND TO GO HERE IF YOU EXPECT POSITIVE HELPFUL SERVICE AND PROFFESIONAL SOMMELIER ADVISES (WHICH YOU EXPECT AT FRESCOBALDI'S RESTAURANT). WE REQUESTED 2 GLASSES OF LAMAIONE (23 EURO EACH) AND THEY POURED US INSIDE THE BAR SOME OTHER WINE (SUPPOSE BASIC CHIANTI OR SIMILAR) CONSIDERING US A TOURISTS DRINKING ANYTHING. THEN WE REQUESTED TO BRING A BOTTLE OF LAMAIONE TO OUR TABLE AND POUR US 3RD GLASS BEFORE OUR EYES AND FINALLY WE GET REQUESTED LAMAIONE AS THE WINE WAS FANTASTIC. FOR THEIR SERVICE AND THEIR ATTITUDE THIS IS STREET CAFE, IT IS A SHAME TO FRESCOBALDI TO KEEP IT LIKE THIS.

10/10My favourite Florence restaurant. Great outside seating are when the weather is good with the best people watching place in the town, and wonderful old school ambience when inside. The food and service is exemplary and Mirko manages it all with consumate ease.
