First off, the restaurant is about 10 minutes from the center by car. When my wife and I arrived, the owner greeted us and sat us down right away. We had a 7:00pm reservation (they offered a 50% discount if we booked at this time) so the restaurant was not full when we arrived.. In general the food quality was good. I felt that the portions were a little small for the price they charge compared to similar restaurants we went to in the area. Yes, the 50% discount saved us half the price, but if you remove the discount, I don't believe the value was there for the dishes you get. This is my honest in my own opinion. That being said, the restaurant is not bad. The owner was very friendly and the service was very good, I just feel there can be some small improvements made to bring it on par with competing restaurants in Rapallo.
