2/10I was really looking forward to dining at your restaurant, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. We ordered frog legs, escargot, prawn carpaccio, lobster risotto, confit beef, and octopus—sadly, most dishes fell short. The frog legs were greasy with batter falling apart, and the meat overcooked. Escargot was average, the prawn carpaccio bland, and the lobster risotto especially poor: hard black rice, minimal lobster, and undercooked meat later returned lukewarm. Only the confit beef stood out (7/10) with its buttery mash. Service was also poor. Staff avoided eye contact and were defensive when we raised issues, citing “rock lobster” and Riviera style. Though they removed the risotto charge, it didn’t redeem the experience. For the price and reputation, this was sadly the worst meal I’ve had in France.

10/10We had a lovely evening at Le Frog. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We tried frogs legs and escargot for the first time. We then had steak, fish and the slow cooked beef. All were really delicious. I would definitely recommend

10/10We went to Le Frog for a family meal. The service was exceptional and the food amazing. We tried the Escargot, the frog legs, confir duck, confit beef, and a steak. All amazing! I recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking to have good french food in Nice.

Pretty good Service The onion soup is totally overpriced with 12 euro (even 7 would be to much but this would be ok) Meat quality is ok, but also 39 Euro for the Steak ist overpriced, in general they drawn everything in oil, the home made fries are not crispy. Overall not recommended

Just off the side street in Nice Old Town, the Frog was quite busy when we turned up with all the outside tables full. The waiter seated us inside and it was quite pleasant to have some AC. The food is all French classics and we shared appetizers, mains and desserts. The mains were quite big portioned and everything was delicious.

10/10I ordered the duck confit with red fruits and it was delicious. The meat was falling off the bone - so tender - and the skin was crispy - perfect! I was thrilled. I had crème brûlée for dessert - magnifique! The service was outstanding. A real gem.

We enjoyed our dinner at Le Frog. Benoit made our evening very special. He was helpful with deciding what to order and with what wine to get. He was also funny and very personable. His service was spot on! Our food was delicious, as well. We had a great experience here.
