Service was good and honest. Chef tried making Japanese but failed - soup was way too salty, lacked real flavours and meat was hardly to be seen. The location is dodgy too and can be avoided !

Thank for coming. I tried to do what? I’m japanese and japanese experienced chef. Our ramens are authentic. Michelin guide confirmed that. The ramen is salty! You don't know that? Maybe you haven.t yet real Ramen and real japanese cuisine…. The location is dodgy? Our location is just popular not dodgy. So your comment is all failed. You can be avoided!

Whilst Fujiyama 55 is well known for its delicious ramen, we elected to try the tuna sashimi, karagge , braised pork & gyoza and found it all superb. Would highly recommend you to visit as their food is carefully and tasty. You will not be disappointed.

We had a truly excellent experience at Fujiyama 55 in Lyon. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out — attentive, friendly, and welcoming without being overbearing. The staff made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. But the real star was the ramen. Rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and well-balanced toppings made this one of the best bowls of ramen I’ve ever had. It struck the perfect balance between depth of flavor and freshness, something that’s hard to find even in some top-rated ramen spots. Whether you’re a ramen enthusiast or just looking for a great meal in Lyon, Fujiyama 55 is well worth a visit. We’ll definitely be coming back. Would you like a version in French as well?

There just wasn't a lot of taste in anything. The gyoza were ok, but nothing special. The maze soba had some strange bitter, burned notes. Again, it was ok, but not great.

Thanks for coming not a lot of taste? I’m japanese chef authentique. Our plates are all authentiques… I don’t know your japanese food experience but ont in Japan, I’m sure.

Service and food was amazing. However, there arent many entree options during weekday lunch hours, but other than that, everything tasted wonderful.

Always a first stop for us as a family--including our petit chien--when we drop by Lyon. And the food, service and warm welcome remain at the excellent standard we've perpetually come for. Keep it up!

The tunna sashimi was white, not really as tunna. They change the fish, and than it was not that fresh. Table was not clean when they sat us.

Hello Maybe you don’t that there are parts of white and parts of red for the tuna. And you had marinade mackerel so….it’s not the problem of fresh or not…. Sorry for your ignorance of Japanese cuisine….

We ordered the Ramen and it was great. We saw the other food items from other tables and it looked okay. Waiter did tell us the chef is from Japan.

Probably the best ramen in town. I will not come to Lyon without stopping there to quench my miso ramen craving. The service is five stars, the food is wonderful (and I lived in Japan for several years!) and the price is inviting to come back, again and again.

Although perhaps not as good as when situated at La Commune, Fujiyama is probably the best bowl of ramen you can find in Lyon. Come for reasonably priced bowls, good noodles, sides and desserts. They could improve flavour oils, tare and broth.

Short menu but really cooked in the restaurant. Ramen is the speciality and they are worth the visit.
