The quality went down and the prices went up. One roll had undercooked rice and no flavor. I used to love this place. I'm not sure what happened to their quality. I've had better sushi from E.Leclerc. (not even kidding).

Friendly service, excellent food. The Seating can be improved, the stools are uncomfortable so it’s a bit difficult to sit and relax.

Very poor quality sushi with smelly fish ( Tuna) the rolls were just tooooo small and totally prepared by an inexperienced person. I will not come back. We paid 80 Eur for 2. Too expensve for such bad sushi experience. Stay away

Food, service, and setting were all 100% excellent. I've returned time after time and brought more and more friends with me. The cuisine is creative and the wines are not only excellent, but pair well with the food. I will return on every trip to the region. Obrigada.

The service here is very good and everyone is so attentive! As for the food - well, the sushi is very well presented and then....it's delicious! It's not too expensive, but then sushi is rarely cheap! We have been here several times now and Funky Sushi never disappoints!

Every visit to Funky Sushi is a culinary delight! The food is delicious, fresh and the presentation is inviting. Thank you for the kind waiter and waitresses, we always have a wonderful time.

The sashimi was very nice and so were the cold nigiri. Our shrimp tempura starter was excellent. However, the toro nigiri was a big disappointment. It had sugar on it which I think is a crime against good fish. Also, the seating is not very comfortable. But, if you like sushi this is a good place to get it (except for the toro). The restaurant has a nice casual vibe and a good selection of cocktails that I want to try next time I go there.

We love the decor, the ambiance, the jazz music playing. Our waitress was so patient accommodating and helpful. Truly, the best sushi around this area for certain! Miso soup was fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We all enjoyed our 44 sushi combination, the freshness was extraordinary ???? Thanks!

Service was excellent; the server took her time and was very kind. It’s quite a hip and inviting space. They really make sure that each dish is presented beautifully and with care. I wish some dishes were a bit larger/more generous for the price, however we felt this sushi far better than other Sushi restaurants in town. The attention to details and flavors really make the difference. Stand out dish-The lobster taco is divine!

We really enjoyed the sushi here! Great staff and service as well. We will definitely be going back. We cannot wait to try everything on the menu!

Excellent sushi. The 20 piece fusion was really nice. Pork gyozas were tasty - crispy on the outside and filling was flavorful. Great service. Would recommend!

Funky Sushi just keeps getting better. The, food, the service and the staff are great. We like to order one traditional and one funky plate, then we share. They also make the best Pisco Sour. If you are near Caldas and you love sushi, it’s well worth a visit.

Really pleased to find such a good Sushi place in Caldas da Rainha. Don't go expecting a long, leisurely meal as the little stools are really uncomfortable but the food, service and even the wine list were all really good. We were charged 16€ for a glass of wine which I'm sure was just a mistake that we didn't notice at the time but we will look more carefully before paying the bill next time. We will definitely go again.
