Absolutely amazing! The best meal of our trip to Italy:) This is such a classy restaurant. We were served a wonderful amuse bouche to begin which was delicious. I then had the linguine frantoio valliillo with crustaceans, bisque, raspberries and lemon which was incredible in every way - perfect flavour combinations and a sauce so delicious I used the complimentary brown bread to soak up every last drop. My husband had the ravioli which he also loved. The maitre de, Luca, was exceptional and assisted in food and wine selections. The restaurant is upstairs. Simply wonderful.

We revisited this restaurant as we loved it so much when we visited in 2024, and it didn't disappoint us in it's new location. The food and service were fantastic again! Thanks so much for a lovely memorable evening.

What a perfect location for this restaurant. Quietly hidden away in plain sight just like its dishes - perfectly created with tastes so palatable and at the same time with surprising juxtaposition of flavours, always delicate and there to be discovered. A small but exquisite selection of wines. Prices that belie the care and attention to each dish.

I truly enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant – it was warm, stylish, and welcoming. The service was excellent, with constant attention throughout the evening, which made the dinner feel special. The food was outstanding – beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

The food was superb. We were served an amuse bouche that was very good followed by a lovely meal. We enjoyed how we were able to choose our wine on the tablet. It explained all about the wine including the type of grape, the rating, pairing suggestions and the region it was from.

Service outstanding. Food amazing - creative, elegant and innovative cuisine based on quality produce. Everything was inspiring and delicious. Ambience welcoming and elegant (although rather on the small side).

What we liked: Service was very friendly. Wine selection was good. What can/must be improved: The Fish was partly still raw and was drowned in sauce. Overall: Seems like the restaurant still tries to define it's own style but in parallel needs to work on getting some basics right.

Amazing food experience in a cozy and traditional ambience. Supported by a wonderful service made of passion and experience of the owner. High quality for both food and wines. It's not a touristic place, but a real south Italian experience.

This was a special dinner for us in Matera. The restaurant is super lovely, food amazing and service very good. They accommodated a vegetarian request. The bread and oil was divine as well as the pasta and meat dishes. Every dessert on the menu was brilliant! We ordered all 4 as we were a table for 4. Complimentary limoncello was the cherry on the cake.

I was in Italy.with a friend and we decided to stop by the restaurant for lunch. The food was amazing, amazingly delicious, and staff was really helpful (they even found me a charger for my phone).

This place was magic. Amazing food in the most elegant and relaxing ambiance, in beautiful white caves. The service was also high quality. Could not recommend it more!

+2A little hidden off the beaten path. You have to walk through what appears to be a small art gallery passage, then make a left, and the entrance is to the left. Beautiful cave restaurant is waiting. The service was phenomenal from start to finish, and Matera menu items were delicious! Some of the finest ingredients and EVERY dish was perfect. We were blown away by this amazing experience. A must visit in Matera!
