4.5/10Asked for outside however seated inside when other people arrived afterwards were seated outside. Tried to give us prawns etc we had not ordered and were chargeable. No water offered. Presentation from 1980s and no checks on how our food was. Food was cold and when mentioned the waiter just removed it and no apology or replacement was offered. The soup over salted and even though we informed them of our anniversary no acknowledgment was made. Much much better restaurants in the area

6/10Slow service, asked for a table close to sea as it was my wifes birthday - got a table just by the entrance. We asked to be reseated - which was not possible. Even if there was tables available. We waited long to get the champagne and other drinks together with starters - generally service was slow and long time for main course to be delivered. For Dessert we were given the menu but much later they adressed the table but we declined as we felt like going home.

5/10A spectacular setting but huge restaurant which lacked personal regard and service. The food I had was disappointing, Prawn cocktail at €18 had 6 Prawns, soggy Lettuce and a runny tasteless cocktail sauce. I ate Sole for my main course which was slightly overcooked and very bland. we waited a long time after requesting the bill. The location over the sea was impressive and the restaurant ambience was good, but overpriced for the quality of food in my opinion.

10/10We went there our first night in Cascais. We were so impressed with the view, restaurant and cuisine, we came back for our last night in Cascais. The shellfish grill for 2 and 2 bottles of Vallado will do the trick. We will be back.

Thank you, dear Gonçalo S.L., for your visit and for your feedback. In order to be able to serve the starters on the table we are required to register them. If customers do not consume them, they are as a rule immediately removed from the bills. Unfortunately, due to the high number of meals served and shift changes, this step is sometimes overlooked and the starters are mistakenly charged. When we become aware that a charge was incorrectly placed on a bill, we promptly try to rectify the situation. We regret, once again, this incident and thank you for all the understanding you can spare us.

6.5/10The restaurant is past its best and dinning out on the setting and view. There were too many bones in our fish and the potatoes were very undercooked. The creamed spinach was very good and the wines chilled perfectly

5/10The food does not match the high standard of the restaurant. The crab shell tasted like ketchup and the octopus was so soft that it made you crave it. Besides, the seasoning of the food was also not to my liking.

9/10The food was excellent. The waiters were very good. We had the barnacles and seafood paella. Both were delicious. The only issue was the restaurant had trouble finding our reservation made on the Fork and did not honor our request for a window seat when they found it. They were fairly rude about the whole thing.

7.5/10It's a very large restaurant with wonderful position next to the sea, so views are terrific. The service was quite good and in some cases terrific. The food was marginal and quite expensive, so you're paying for the view, not the food. We most enjoyed our waiter who was very knowledgeable about wines, spoke English very well and had a great sense of humor. Even so, we won't be returning.

10/10This is one of the fanciest restaurants I've ever been to. My husband and I shared seafood paella, which contained a whole lobster, probably a dozen or more shrimp, and many mussels, and clams. The presentation was beautiful The family at the next table had sea bass covered in salt , which was lighted on fire when it was served. The service was impeccable. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant. It's a little pricey (66 euros for the paella for 2 people), but the quality of the food justifies the price.

5/10Atmosphere by the ocean was unbeatable. Clams were good but the lenguado (sole) was expensive and extremely badly cooked. How difficult is it to grill a fish if it’s fresh?

6/103 dining rooms, we were seated in the covered outside area, small table, humid, chair was wet with salt water (they changed it afterwards) nobody asked if we preferred another table / dining room, waiters very nice but not well organized. The oysters were good but the paella quite mediocre- I don’t think we’ll be going back….oh the car park guard was a wonderful person!

8.5/10The locations, service, and other conditions were perfect. however, we did not like that fact that waiter spent about 20 minute next to table to cut and service the grilled fish. the food is good, but starters and appetizers should be better. these were ok but could be improved. worst, is that although work hours of restaurant should remain until 11:30 (Sunday dinner), at 10:30 they turned off most of lights and staff started to clean up the surrounding area and moving tables and chairs. this gave us and many other tables indication that we are required to leave!! i didn't like this at all as a host.

10/10Have been here many times and never disappointed in the food. Best "a Portugesa" fish anywhere I've been. I don't think it's listed on the menu, per se, but don't think twice... ask for it. The "ao sal" fish is also amazing, but you can get that at many places. Both will take a while to prepare. Just go in with an attitude to spend the evening at a slow pace. Order wine by the bottle. Eat some apps. Nobody is chasing you off the table. So, you probably need to ask for the bill when it's time to move on. Live the moment and the result will be memorable.
