Feel at home cuisine, real flavour, simple ingredients, made with a discerning care, which I can enjoy every day. It’s true. The restaurant has its own book called mama’s recipes.

Gaberem was the best restaurant at which we dined in France! Amazing! We invited new tour friends to join us and I was anxious about their reaction- they (and we) agreed it was Fabulous! Congrats to Gabrielle and Remi for having the best hidden gem in Versailles.

A superb evening. I came with my elderly parents and brother when visiting Versailles for a few days. Delicious food, we were very well looked after. This is not the usual tourist trap - the menu is well thought out, seasonal, and perfectly executed. A relaxed, local bistro in a residential part of town. Bravo.

What a find! Beautifully set in a residential area 20 minutes from the chateau and run by husband and wife team, Gabrielle and Remy. Gabrielle supervises a friendly, happy and lively front of house serving the fresh, seasonal and innovative dishes prepared by Remy in the kitchen. The small menu guarantees every dish is cooked fresh to order. We loved it so much we have booked for a second night.

This little restaurant was a great find, off the beaten track and very intimate. The food was outstanding and was incredibly delicious. The service was excellent and time was taken to explain each dish in English (our French is a little rusty). Would return and was totally worth the 1 hour walk from and return to our hotel.

The food was outstanding! The price for the quality of food is unmatched! If I lived here I would eat here often! The menu changes everyday so you know you are getting fresh ingredients!

Very welcoming and friendly staff. The service was excellent, no waiting around, but not rushing either. The food was delicious, we tried a variety of all 3 courses and we had a nice sparking rosé. We sat outside, there are just a couple of tables on the pavement. Good enough. All in all a lovely evening.

We booked this restaurant from the UK with not much to go on apart from the reviews. What a jewel! Tucked away on a residential street 25 minutes walk from the palace this is truly an undiscovered gem. Filled to the brim with locals we were the only ‘etrangers ’ amongst 40 covers but were welcomed with warmth and interest and treated to fantastic food prepared with skill and care. Nothing too fancy but just perfect. If you’re looking for something authentic and delicious this is the place to go!

The restaurant is amazing in all senses of the word. Great quality food, original dish suggestions, very welcoming and professional staff and nicely decorated environment. Highly recommended.

A delightful evening. The Food was excellent and the service helpful and very friendly in both English and French. We will return their soon and looking forward to it!
