7/10While the tasting menu was well thought out from a stylistic standpoint, the restaurant itself has more of office ambience than restaurant. Some of the courses (paté, duck e.g.) stayed behind their potential. Otherwise a really good price-value ratio! Only recommended for (hunting) meat-lovers

10/10Gala was excellent. Service was personal but professional. Presentation was exceptional. They changed plates and cutlery every course. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented and appropriately portioned. Steak tartare, sea bass, venison and sea urchin were standouts.

9.5/10The standout for me was the 3 cheese cheesecake! Creamy, with real gourmet cheeses, it is exceptional! All other dishes were very good (I also recommend the passion fruit shrimp) and service attentive.

The food and atmosphere was fantastic. We got the tasting menu and were not disappointed. Our server did not speak fluent English (and we didn’t speak fluent Spanish), but he made every effort and it added to the experience. If we ever it back to Barcelona, we would definitely go again.

6.5/10The oyster was amazing, and so was the gazpacho. The other dishes was indeed tasteful, but somehow too rich. So if you are in for a “beef” umami taste, you will be delighted- it’s rich and full body flavored. I just missed a bit more crispy and more subtle light flavors. Otherwise it was a fine experience dinning at Gala.

A real gem, reason enough to visit Madrid. Jorge and staff offer sophisticated, delicious dishes, kind and responsive service, all quality without pretension. (Even here in Galicia, we´ll be dreaming of the grilled octopus in potato puree). As good today as it was 3 years ago , we´ll be back again.

Nice place, established 35 years. Modern interiors. Waiters very attentive, had a set menu for €42 which was plenty, comprised of 3 enteries and a main dish including the desert. House wine was delicious and reasonably priced. Pleasant and relaxed ambience. Worth a visit.

A small and cosy restaurant with excellent food and a good wine list ???? the final bill was okay and price level is very good. The chef produces food with a twist and with an eye for the good raw materials. I would love to come back ????

10/10Epic….did the degustation menu which was 9 courses of chef choice…..a barbacoa taco, a fish tartare, foil gras sandwich, artichoke with cream corn, crab ravioli, seared tuna, iberico pork cheese course and dessert….one of the best meals since we last did San Sebastián area several years ago….highly recommended ….more casual than expected so we felt a bit overdressed

A Michelin guide restaurant with a value for money menu (5 courses) for 40€ per person. Available also a degustation menu with 3 more dishes. We’ve selected seafood starters and fish as main course. Alternatively, you can select meat dishes. The octopus and the tuna tartare were very good. The wine card has a limited selection of Spanish wines at very good prices. The dinning area has a contemporary design and the staff is friendly. There’s not an outside sitting area. Overall a good dinning experience.

9.5/10Highly recommended! The food delicious and the service was very personalized. We really had a very good time. The servings were quite correct, we ordered the menu and could try three entrees which we shared, one main dish for each one and finally a sample of different desserts. At the end we were very happy with our choice since we got to try several dishes.

We had an exceptional experience at Gala. The staff was welcoming, service efficient and the food was excellent. Our waiter helped us navigate the wine list and we were very pleased with his recommendation. Highly recommend.

4/10ordered the tasting menu for 67euro, frankly speaking the food quality and taste was pretty ordinary. For this price would not recommend anyone to try this menu.
