Good food but I give only 3 stars because we order wheel cheese pasta and I think this menu should do it at our table but they didn’t. That is a bit weird and a bit expensive if don’t do that at our table.

8/10The Tagliatella al pomodoro e basilico was very nice, as was the Polpo alla griglia. The Carpaccio di pesce spada was too sweet as a result of the use of balsamico on the accompanying cherry tomatos. And though I understand this can not be a fresh dish for this price, the underlying slices of the carpaccio where not yet fully thawed. The Tartufo affogato was excellent. As for the rosé (Sagaris rosato) that was a bit too sweet as well for our taste, but that is not something that is on count of the restaurant, as they had a wider choice and we should have asked. The service was very nice. All in all we had a very agreeable evening. I recommend this restaurant.

10/10We had the antipasti selection and it was fabulous, the Finocchiona was a highlight. We also had the beef carpaccio it was top quality and the sundried tomatoes were so sweet and delicious (found out from friendly staff that they are dried in house). Definitely worth a visit, lovely staff, great atmosphere and wonderful food.

5.5/10We had high hopes for this Italian restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet expectations. The complimentary bread and olive oil served at the beginning were excellent — a promising start — and the Italian wine we ordered was truly enjoyable. However, the overall experience fell short. The food was overly salty, which overpowered the flavors rather than enhancing them. Additionally, the service left much to be desired. The staff didn’t seem particularly attentive or friendly, and we had to wait quite a while before anyone came to take our drink order. While there were some highlights, the lack of attention to service and balance in the food make it unlikely we’ll return soon. Hopefully these points can be improved, as the place does have potential.

Everything about our dining experience at Gallizia was memorable for mine and a friend’s first trip to Amsterdam. The service was exceptional, our server picked out the perfect wine for each of us, and the carbonara rivaled that of Rome. Must-dine experience⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
