We were surprised at the almost complete lack of spoken English, as we would have thought that Haarlem gets English speaking people visiting all the time. The food was not up to the quality of Indian cuisine. My starter - number 1 on the menu - was not nice. It was over cooked and was unpleasant. My Biriani was ok and my partners meal wasn’t too bad but not up to standard. The best thing was the mango ice cream so at least it ended quite well. The staff were pleasant.

Not recommended for kids. You have to wait your entire day to have food. And you’re not allowed to choose your food, especially if your four person you’ve to order four soups, four main course, four desert and four drinks. Strange I never heard this anywhere.

Gem - authentic Indian food. This is now my favorite restaurant outside India and reminded me of Mumbai. The owners are hospitable and run by a family. We ordered lamb Rogan gosh & it was boneless and not chewy. Simply delicious and right amount of spices. I would recommend this place for anyone who is missing Indian Punjabi food

Usually have a decent experience with Gandhi. Because of using promotion of the fork festival, one of the waitors wasn't very happy and he lets my girlfriend know. Sorry, but I think that is just rude. Gandhi choses to participate on many promos and they have a choice of not doing so. Everything else was just fine!

Really really tasty Indian cuisine! Definitely will come back! Service was good and with very positive attitude, hence not very fast (but still acceptable if you are not in hurry and came to enjoy the food and company).

Lovely Indian restaurant, interior a bit dated but that really just adds to the charm. Food was some of the best Indian food I’ve had, certainly a lot better than the other Indian restaurants in Haarlem. Service very friendly and attentive. All in all I’d highly recommend this place if you are looking for a high quality authentic Indian restaurant.

A small but fantastic restaurant which serves truly excellent food. If you want silver service and are willing to pay the price then look elsewhere - this is a place to be treated like a member of the family with simple but really tasty and well presented food. Good service - good food - good wine (try the Indian house red!) - and a good price. 10/10!

I am a great fan of Indian Food and thus visits Indian Restaurants every now and then. This time i was at Haarlem for work and came across this restaurant. My favourite Chicken Madras was here not what it should be. It was not spicy and too much salt. Kema nan was good but the rice was hard. Service was very show even though the space was almost empty. Decoration was ok.
