10/10The service was incredible! Marco was very attentive and very kind with our kids. When our son was eyeing the neighborhood kids playing soccer in the square, he encouraged him to go play and even grabbed his own soccer ball and facilitated my son joining the others. The food was also excellent, but it was the warm, local feel the made this truly memorable.

10/10We had a reservation and I'm glad we did, as most of the outdoor seating was taken when we arrived at 19:30. The interior was fresh and inviting but it was a perfect night (late May) for outdoor dining. Service was impeccable (by one of the owners) whose recommendations were reassuring. We enjoyed a mixed salad (plenty for two) and my wife had the grilled fish (sea bass) while I relished the grilled octopus from among several great choices. Both were cooked to perfection. The house white wine (by the glass) was nicely balanced as we did not want a whole bottle after aperitivos. We especially enjoyed that the restaurant is located on a less busy area of the very large Santa Margherita Square so foot traffic was nowhere close to the outdoor tables, which were nicely spread out. A "must-do" restaurant which has a lot of heart.

10/10Me and my husband shared the bruschetta to start then I had the peppered steak whilst the husband had the lamb chops both were exceptional. The service was attentive without being obtrusive would highly recommend

6.5/10We were rushed ,though I said not to …The restaurant had just 6 tables filled..Food was adequate ..Vegetables were overcooked..The broccoli was yellowed but tasted fine ..We liked the wine list..We were over charged for our wine by 10 euros ..When we called the attention of the waiter of the discrepancy ,It was corrected..This could have been a better experience for was I paid…

4/10The food was really bad, nicely presented but tasteless. I have the impression that it was warmed up in a microwave. I am sad because I took my mother there expecting a good Italian meal and we got terrible food.

10/10The food and service were great and the ambience was cosy. We had a great time for the first meal in Venice. I ordered a cup of caffe latte after it as I expected great coffee there in Italy, and there was no disappointment! I would recommend it.

9.5/10We ate here twice during a recent visit to Venice. We love this area of the city and were delighted to find this relatively new restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff, particularly Marco, friendly and attentive. Strongly recommend the Garden Bistrot to anyone who wants to enjoy somewhere in Campo Santa Margarita.

10/10This restaurant is located on the quieter end of Campo Santa Margherita, which gives it a nicer calmer ambience. My two seafood dishes were delicious, with scallops being cooked perfectly. I was served by Marco who is first-rate. The prices were reasonable for the location and quality.

Went here tonite and had the best burrata for appetizer and then ordered the fish of the day which happened to be sea bass which we love. Waiter brought out the whole fish and we thought oh no i hate bones in fish but before serving , he filet the fish so perfectly and with a spoon! So so fresh tasted like it was just caught! It was served with delicious medly of veggies and potatoes and kalamata olives. Service was great and wine was great!
