10/10You definitely have to visit this amazing restaurant in Pompeii! We booked a table for two today for 2 p.m. and we really had an all-round great experience. We started with antipasti (PROSCIUTTO DI PARMA E MOZZARELLA DI BUFALA and PARMIGIANA DI MELANZANE), as Primi we shared the PACCHERI AL RAGÙ NAPOLETANO and as Secundi we had the TONNO AL SESAMO with VERDURA ALLA GRIGLIA and the FILETTO ALLA GRIGLIA with SCAROLE SALTATE. The waiter recommended a white wine from the region with our meal. The wine really went well with it. Both the food and the service were exceptionally good. The waiter was able to explicitly explain to us the origin of the ingredients and the method of preparation for every meal on the menu. He was very friendly and courteous. The whole interior in this restaurant is stylish. And the prices….my god - it was absolutely worth it. We definetely will come back!

10/10The ambience is amazing, the wait staff are first class, and the food is absolutely delicious. It’s the best restaurant we’ve been to in Italy, by far. Fabulous appetizers with crab ravioli and potato pasta - delicious - and the sesame tuna with raspberry glaze is perfection. The knowledgeable and wonderful wait staff paired the perfect wine and the deserts were exquisite. And not expensive - in fact, very good value. Don’t even think about anywhere else - book a table here, if you can get one. We’ve been to a lot of Michelin restaurants in Italy, France and Spain, and this beats most of them. Thank you Garum Pompeii for a great evening.

6.5/10We went there by recommendation from friends. There were 5 of us. The initial greeting and experience was great, but the service was bad. Three of the people at our table received their entrees and were finished eating them, and we had not received anything but an appetizer. I had to point this out, and then they realized they hadn’t put in the full order, so we continued to wait while the rest of our group waited for us to get and eat our food. It was frustrating. There was no offer of compensation.

10/10Garum is a wonderful restaurant, lovely ambience, friendly helpful staff serving delicious food, the grilled sea bream was expertly prepared at the table and perfectly cooked. The wine selection is wonderful. Well worth a visit

10/10This was a great restaurant, great decor and atmosphere. The staff were extremely attentive and very professional and knowledgeable. The food was excellent… I ordered the risotto and beef fillet and both were excellent. They had gluten free options and bread which was very appreciated. Pricing was good . There are so many places in Pompei too touristy and ready to rip you off…. but not here at GARUM….. would highly recommend…. Best to book in advance. Truly a great little find.

10/10Very nice wine ambience. Arrived soon after opening in the evening so wasn't too busy though other diners trickled in of course. Excellent, friendly service and attention explaining various preparations and wines. Food quality was elevated, an appetizer sampler and an entire fresh caught local fish. My wine was by the glass a local white with good pours. Left happy. Would definitely return to try other dishes.
