Unfortunately, we didn’t check the reviews for this restaurant before booking. It seems that some of the individual positive reviews may not be genuine, watch out for this. Our server, Christian, was very nice, but the food was by far the worst and most expensive we’ve had on our trip. We came specifically for authentic paella and ordered the mixed version. What we received was starchy, lacked flavour, the meat was dry, and there was a strange coating on top, it looked like it had been baked, which is not true paella. We aren’t overly fussy eaters, but this was a very disappointing experience, especially since we had been looking forward to a great meal. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Staff were very welcoming and gave recommendations for food. I do not speak Spanish so when members of staff wanted to be clear about our conversation, they brought another member of staff who's English was better, to explain things to me. Their food recommendations were very good choices and they didn't try to push the most expensive dishes. Both dishes I ate and the dessert were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented.

The service was phenomenal. Alex and Oscar were so friendly, made a fuss of my Nan and it felt like having a meal with family. The restaurant is beautiful. The food will be discussed for months. Gorgeous food. This will forever be the restaurant I come to anytime I'm in Seville. Thank you a special night!

10/10Great service, great food, reasonably priced! We couldn’t get a reservation until 22:15, but requested an earlier time reservation brought the app if available. The host called and got us in at 21:30. Very nice!

2.5/10I wouldn't recommend Gascona to anyone. The service was terrible, the paella was the worst we had in Spain and the air conditioning barely worked. Menu options were limited as well. I frankly don't understand how this restaurant receives any positive reviews unless you are a local and have a relationship with the Owner. Both my wife and I were extremely disappointed. To top it off they called a taxi for us to our hotel and used a company that not only drove us out of the way from our hotel but made it necessary for us to get out and walk to stop him from running up the meter, which was already 10 euros more than every other taxi we had previously taken from Triana while we were in Seville. We were looking forward to it, but it was a very disappointing last night experience. From one well travelled tourist to another, avoid this one!

8.5/10Really nice Gascona Cachopo. Could get a bit more fries and peppers, since it’s for sharing such a large plate. The ciders’ sangria was really good and refreshing. Server was really polite and funny

8.5/10The restaurant was very nice, cool and calm providing a break from the heat. Liria our server was friendly and chatty and made us feel at home. The scallop starter was delicious and good value. The seafood paella was nice, I haven’t had many so couldn’t say how good. Could have done with more seafood in it for the price of nearly £40 for 2 people. Burger was very good.Overall very pleasant

A lovely meal in relaxed surroundings with impeccable service from Hadrian (not sure of the spelling - sorry if it is incorrect). His English was good, and he took the time to explain the menu and specials. We ordered too much food but it was all very tasty, and the menu had a great choice of what appeared to be typically Spanish dishes. Highly recommended!

8/10My wife and myself visited the restaurant at 2030 hrs as it just opened. We both ordered sea bass followed by a sweet. The sea bass was excellent, and the sweet was average. The service was poor, being very rushed. As soon as we were shown to our table we were given one menu to share. We were immediately asked what wine we would like and when we said we wanted to choose our meal first, we were told that this wasn't possible. In view of the whole rushed experience means I could not reccommend the resturant
