We were greeted by the owner himself. What a beautiful setting and very very tasty food! Service also second to none! Can highly recommend and it’s a shame we have found this little gem on our last day of our holiday. Keep up the good work ! Merci beaucoup!

7/10It’s a beautiful atmospheric restaurant and staff are pleasant but got my husband’s main course wrong, however it was good. Unfortunately my main course of turkey was tough & lacked flavour, it was served with pasta which also lacked flavour. The turkey was smothered in a flavourless mushroom sauce. The herring starter was lovely and the covert. We had a lovely red wine. We were disappointed but we may consider a second visit in the Autumn.

10/10The food, service and ambiance of this restaurant was truly amazing. We nearly didnt go as it was a little too far to walk, however a round trip of less than 10 euros and we were so glad we did. The food was beautifully presented and cooked. Very reasonable prices even before the fork discount. The desserts and coffee also fabulous. Well worth a visit.

Discovered this royal gem through fork and been four times in six weeks with various friends . The food is amazing , the food is incredible , the value for money is unbeleivable , the owner and waitress and just lively friendly helpful people . We love it ! The a la carte has a great choice and the menu du jour always offers a tasty dish for 14€!!!!

Found this French restaurant on the fork in Albufeira and booked to give it a try yesterday ! We wa walked in to a full dining room with a happy atmosphere of diners many of whom were French . The menu and prices are incredible and with the 30% discount just unbelievable! I had the duck which was a huge portion with a portion of fois gras ! Thr lamb chops were tender and juicy , steak was delicious and Danny had one of his favourites , steak tartare, I had to have my favourite dessert when we are in France , cafe gourmand which is a coffee with three small portions of desserts ! Wonderful french wine. Very excited to make this find , we will be regulars Decor was lovely, service was friendly easynparking outside but only €5 in a bolt .

9.5/10Great food and very friendly service. The location is perfect with lots of seating space and ample parking available. The fish is super fresh and the Steak was grilled to perfection. Would definitely recommend enjoying a meal at Gatronomica Bistro.
