The food and service were both amazing. The wait staff, especially Sandra, was lovely. The hotel reception was not very friendly though. We asked if we could leave our suitcases for 2-3 hours during lunch because we had come from the airport and lunching before going to the train station. They made us pay 5 euros per suitcase/bag even for small bags. But that isn’t the restaurant’s fault, and the restaurant staff were all very friendly, so I still give five stars :-)

Food is fantastic especially the appetizers. Portion is good with 5 of us sharing 6 dishes and they offer 1 free appetizer and a cup of super nice chicken soup. Order a grilled fish & steak as main. Finish with delicious desserts- pistachio, tiramisu and Irish coffee. And they given us a carrot cake as birthday gift.

GastroVia 61 was a restaurant that exceeded all expectations. From the service to the food, all were excellent. I do not think you could find a nicer place to dine with such delicious food. The only negative is the décor is a little dated.

Me and my friend went here for dinner and had the most impeccable service. We shared a paella that was exceptional, not to mention how lovely and precise the staff was! I would come back any day and I definitely recommend it

On arrival, the hotel foyer is not very impressive, but this restaurant (at the back) is a delight. Very friendly service & and exciting, innovative menu of Asian influenced, Spanish dishes.

My family and I were searching for a traditional Spanish restaurant, and we were blown away! After visiting Seville and Bilbao, this place has become one of our favorites in Spain. The food was fresh and delicious, and the wine was exquisite. The service was outstanding as well. I would highly recommend going if you’re in Madrid.

I booked the restaurant for my husband’s 70th birthday meal after reading previous reviews and was not disappointed at all. The service was excellent and Jose in particular had carried out our daughter’s request to have a bottle of fizz ready for us when we arrived. The food was delicious with a couple of extra courses we did not expect. Then to top it all my husband was presented with a sweet complete with candle in honour of his special birthday. Some of the diners sang happy birthday which made his evening. Thank you to all involved and we would not hesitate to recommend a visit to this lovely restaurant.

It’s hard to describe the food 🍲 & service in this unique establishment. We was in many Michelin Star restaurants around the world, but attentive service and presentation of the dishes in this restaurant was better then in many of them. Wine list was also very good and not overpriced(2012 bottle of good wine was €65). Thank you for your hospitality

Service is excellent and each dish is very well prepared. My hake dish was delicious. The filet was tender, fresh and flavorful. The sauce accompanying the hake was light and properly complemented the fish. The hake dish came with roasted leeks - an OK choice adding its own flavor dimension, although I could think of many other vegetables that could have complemented the dish better, My husband's entrecote was tender and delicious. A little expensive, but to be expected just off Grand Via. We would dine here again if we have the opportunity to return to Madrid.

Small restaurant inside the hotel provides exceptional warm hospitality and good food. We ordered artichoke with ham and forks gras which was remarkable. Other dishes were good as well.

Impeccable service, quality staff who know what they're doing, exceptional food and wine - we felt so welcome and well taken care of, the food was absolutely divine (mains were HUGE) and beautifully presented. Coats were hung up in a cupboard for us, real napkins (not throwaway rubbish), and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We even received a special surprise (and delicious) dessert as it was our 20th wedding anniversary - so kind and thoughtful! Minus one star for ambient as when we arrived there was awful pop music playing so loudly we couldn't hear each other (didn't fit at all to such a great restaurant but was turned down when we asked politely), the entrance is through a hotel lobby (heaving with grumpy and loud tourists), and there are no windows so no nice views.

This elegant and unique placr was chosen to celebrate our 15th Anniversary (Crystal Weddings). Everything, from starters to on trays were well done and delicious. And the white wine we chose was fantastic for these dishes. We recommend this place to celebrate important elements in your life.

The food was absolutely amazing. We had the ceviche with urchin roe, grilled clams, jamón croquettes, grilled squid in ink sauce, and steak with blue cheese sauce. All of it was cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and attentive. 100% would return!

The service was amazing and overall the food was delicious. I would have enjoyed having the lights turned down a bit, so the ambiance was more enjoyable. We have shared the name of this restaurant with friends. It provided an enjoyable meal without having to spend too much money.
