Good food and professional staff

Very quiet and welcoming restaurant with kind and attentive staff. The food is quite diverse and tasty, with autumn notes. The plate presentation and attention to detail was remarkable. To improve: The lighting could be in warmer colors, both indoors and out to improve the coziness. The plates often mix too many strong / keynote flavors per dish, making it hard to make a standout.

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my visit, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. Attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming — it made the entire experience all the more memorable. Highly recommended.

The staff is really attentious and very friendly. The food is also very tasty. It is a great place to commemorate a special occasion, like a birthday dinner or lunch, with your closest friends and family.

Lovely little hotel with unexpected good food. The hotel is very kid-friendly, it was the perfect lunch break on our way from Sintra to Douro.

I understand why they lost their Michelin Guide listing. The Service was poor, and the table settings did not match the meal. My partner had an allergic reaction; the food lacked flavor and imagination. There was a child banging on a poorly tuned Baby Grand Piano, and the Pavlova was anything but a Pavlova. When asking for the wines, we asked to see the menu to understand which wine to pair it with. There was no menu, just a set menu with no warning of what was in it or the ingredients in the meal. We will give this place a miss from here on out.

Restaurant inside a boutique hotel, overlooking the garden and pool. The ambience is very nice. Good service. The menu is appealing with traditional Portuguese dishes. Doses are smalish and prices a bit high.

➡️ Excellent high quality food, beautiful setting, service a bit meh Amazing food quality in a beautiful setting. Refined and precise taste, we really like the fried panko prawn and the duck breast. The octopus and orange cake were memorable. However my duck breast was served without the sauce and when the waiter came back to add it I had already eaten two slices... The service was so-so, our waiter looked inexperienced and did a few mistakes : forgot to ask which beverage we want and was a bit slow to clean dishes we didn't use anymore. He wasn't at ease with English which is unexpected in a restaurant affiliated to a 4* hotel. He was still very respectful and willing though. Overall we really recommend the place, the food and setting are totally worth!

Excellent food and very good ambience. I went for dinner and had to come back next day for lunch. Highly recommended. Worth the price. For sure I will come back.
