10/10Sunday lunch at this restaurant in Milano was amazing, booked only an hour in advance yet they were able to accommodate us when the restaurant was very busy with local residents as well as other tourists. The food is well priced and the portions sizes are excellent so be prepared, for us two we shared a bowl of French fries (a really big bowl) and a salad to share two glasses of wine and a bottle of soft drink as well as a bottle of water to accompany our main dish of tagliatelle with Ragu (again another large bowl). All for around 65 € we would definitely recommend and definitely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

4/10Our waiter was disinterested in us. He disappeared after we ordered and never came back to the table to see if everything was alright or if we needed or wanted anything else. He didn’t say thank you or goodbye when we left even though he was standing right by the exit. The food lacked taste and the seafood tasted as if it were frozen rather than fresh. We were told that desserts weren’t included in The Fork promotion as they should have. I’m well aware that restaurants in Italy charge a coperto. This restaurant charged the highest per person I have been charged in all of Italy after over 10 trips here. The amount was E5 per person. Most restaurants of this level charge E3. The restaurant took it upon themselves to convert our bill into US dollars instead of euros which gave us a less advantageous exchange rate. The busboy who brought us the bill, not the waiter, asked if there was a problem. I said yes, explained to him what it was, and he left the table. No one came to speak with us.

10/10Arrived a little early for my reservation but no problem getting seated. Food was great. I picked the swordfish main dish. Next time, I’ll try the sea bream! Pasta 1st dish was excellent! Thanks

10/10The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, and the service is quick. You can see the kitchen from outside the window, which shows the dishes are freshly made and the kitchen is very clean. The service is also very attentive, so it comes highly recommended.

7.5/10Even though the wine and seafood is indeed excellent and the staff was very friendly and efficient (please reply in Italian if the client is trying to speak the language!), the steak a la Milanese is dreadful boring and extremely salty, especially if it comes with fries and bread. It is also disproportionately big and overpriced. When the most expensive single dish in the menu is the worst you can offer you wonder about the rest. If you can’t do proper meat don’t put it on the menu for your sake. It can ruin an entire evening. One final thing: have some martini available, Milan in still part of Italy last time I checked.

The “elephant ear” cutlet is famous in Milan precisely because it’s so large. Your review would make sense only if you had ordered just that. But you also tried the raw fish, and you yourself wrote that it was very good. The fact that the waiter spoke in your native language was a sign of courtesy. Martini is on our drink list — we had simply run out of it this evening.

Gentile Ksalka, la ringraziamo per averci fatto visita e per aver apprezzato il servizio e l’atmosfera. Ci dispiace invece leggere che i piatti non siano stati di suo gradimento. La pasta al pomodoro e le tagliatelle ai porcini sono due preparazioni semplici, volutamente fedeli alla tradizione e pensate per esaltare la qualità degli ingredienti, senza eccessi. Ci teniamo a precisare che non usiamo né additivi né sapori artificiali, quindi non dovrebbe mai emergere un gusto “strano”. Accogliamo comunque il suo commento con spirito costruttivo e restiamo a disposizione per un confronto diretto, se vorrà tornare a trovarci.
