They were incredibly understaffed. The staff that were there (apart from 1 woman and I think the manager so 2 in total) didn't seem to do much, leaving the serving and taking orders to the floor manager and someone that i think usually worked in the kitchen. We watched how a couple tables got their food before we did, leaving us to wait for over an hour before we had anything. I get that its busy, but with there being an event i think the restaurant could've prepared to have more staff, come up to the table to say it will take longer or at least do their job instead of leaving it to the manager and the other woman. Kudos to those two woman and the people in the kitchen because they carried that service!
