9/10Lovely ambience. Someone has spent a fortune. Beautiful outside bar and soft sitting area. I’ve now been twice but today the service was poor. Not on the food but in bringing drinks. Three times we had to ask for a new bottle of wine BUT that happened twice. There were 6 of us and we ended up getting through three bottles. We were later charged for four. It was busy but they struggled to cope. On our first visit all ok but restaurant was much quieter. However food was really good. And we will definitely go again. Guys just sort the service out and you will have a top restaurant.

9.5/10As you see I marked you down 1 star on the service. Because the service was poor because it’s not very well organised you have more than enough staff but need organised to be more attentive especially !! if you need more wine replenishing 😩 Other than that excellent food and surroundings.

6/10I had a nice dinner at Gianni. The food was good and the portions were fine, not too small, not overly generous. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the service was decent. That said, for the price, I was expecting a bit more in terms of either presentation, flavor complexity, or overall wow factor. It wasn’t a bad experience by any means, just not quite as impressive as the cost might suggest. A decent spot, but not exceptional.

10/10My first visit to Gianni and certainly not the last … The food, service and service was impeccable and very polite waiting staff. No pressure from anyone to rush you through your meal. A great lounge area to enjoy a pre dinner drink or cocktail and afterwards for dessert or coffee. Decoration is very well designed. A great evening for sure. Well done all at Gianni … Bravi Tutti !

7.5/10Great Food and Service but the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve experienced in a Restaurant, They need new pads for seat and back or , better still , get rid and buy some decent ones .A real shame as this is a welcome addition to a very competitive market

5.5/10Service was terrible. We waited over 3 Hours for our main course. No proper apology and not even a goodwill gesture. Told over 1 hour after ordering that the mussels were no longer available. Wine wasn’t topped up at any point, We had to help ourselves. Had high hopes but sorely disappointed. Such a shame as food was actually excellent when it finally arrived. Sadly all too little too late by then…..

The wait for your main course, the delay in communicating about the unavailable mussels, and the lack of attention to your wine service are unacceptable and far below our standards. We also regret that no proper apology or goodwill gesture was offered. While we’re glad you found the food excellent when it arrived, we understand it was too late to salvage the experience. We’re reviewing our kitchen and service processes to ensure this doesn’t happen again. To clarify, we always have a manager on-site, but we’re unaware of this issue being raised directly with them at the time, which could have allowed us to address it immediately. 9/10Great quality food (and generous sizes), very friendly staff who all spoke fluent English (special mention to Maria who greeted us at the door and made us feel very welcome - she deserves a pay rise!) and amazing decor and ambience. The background music is very well chosen and at a perfect sound level - not too low and not to loud. It's not cheap, but I would return for more special occasions on a warm summer night.

10/10Lovely outside space with a terrace for drinks and dining. Good choice of cocktails and a big menu. The food was delicious on every level and the service was great. We’re not rushed off our table which makes for a nice dining experience. The vibe was really nice with background music but not too loud. I’m sure this place will be very popular in no time. Can’t wait to go back.

7/10The food was very good. I had clams followed by ravioli with sage and ricotta. However the service was dreadful. The waitress allocated to our table just didn't listen to what the guests said and didn't even apologise. And the service was painfully slow. At the beginning, the restaurant wasn't full and there were lots of waiters / waitresses standing around doing nothing, and not paying attention to the guests at all. When we did eventually get served, I wanted to ask for a spoon, but couldn't attract any attention. All in all it was still a nice evening and we enjoyed our meal, but it was a case of despite the service and not because of it!

10/10Food is amazing! Our waitress was extremely friendly and very professional her name is Shaye. We sat outside on the Terrace which was lovely! The only critic I have is I ordered a glass of Champagne and it came in a Wine glass and NOT a Champagne Flute to which Shaye very kindly changed it into a Champagne Flute for me which I prefer!! Overall an excellent evening and I will most definitely be returning.

8.5/10The food was very good, terrace and interior are also high quality, BUT the music was incredibly loud so that a conversation was impossible - this is where the excellent service kicked in. The manager found us a quieter table so that we could enjoy our evening. The waitress (from Virginia) was excellent too, very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable.

3/10Ignore the 1 star for food as not applicable we left before we ordered any food. Warm welcome from hostess who brought our water, gave us menus but 15 minutes later no one came to table. The restaurant inside was not busy so ambience not great. Had heard some good things about the restaurant but unfortunately not for us. We left and ate at one of our favourite restaurants down the road.

10/10Starters were great but our first main was the porterhouse/chateaubriand and was tough and chewy. The manager was very responsive and changed it for two fillets which were truly excellent. The attention to customer experience was fabulous from both our waitress and the management and kitchen. Well done Gianni staff!

6.5/10The food was good, the ambience was nice although the music was too loud. It is much nicer to have authentic Italian background music rather than popular music. Also the service was not good, the staff were inexperienced and did not seem to be trained in a restaurant setting. With better staff training the experience would be much more memorable.
