Basic hotel restaurant. Far from the rating indicated. "The Venetian Lounge" is a disappointing experience, lacking both atmosphere and authenticity. Service was average and the food selection limited, with little that stood out as memorable. Overall, it felt more like a functional hotel dining room than the refined Venetian setting the name suggests.

Excellent service from staff . Menu changed a day before we arrived so so wouldn't have chosen this restaurant if we knew what the new menu looked like . As this is a hotel restaurant I don't think the public know about it. The atmosphere was lacking with only 2 guests eating including ourselves. Beef fillet steak cooked to perfection 👌

The setting is absolutely beautiful, the staff are attentive and helpful and the food is lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in this oasis of tranquility.

Mixed impressions. We chose this restaurant through the thefork website for its vegan options. It was more fancy (and pricey) than we expected, but the winter garden style with a view into the lush park through huge windows makes it very special for Venice. While the food was very good, the vegan options were very limited. There was no vegan starter on the menu. After a short conversation on what they could prepare, the staff and kitchen were only able to come up with plain cooked asparagus (for 22 eur). The only vegan pasta dish was surprisingly served with parmigiano. The one vegan main dish from the menu was very good. It's good they have these vegan options, but it's not enough (and they're not prepared for it) to cost this place if you want to eat fully vegan.

My teenage children, who love Italian cooking and fine food, said this was the best meal of their lives. My husband said this was top 3 best meal of his life and he can’t think of the other two. Beautiful atmosphere and delicious Christmas dinner. The salmon, seafood assortment, guanciale, tiramisu and panettone were from the heavens. Wait staff were profession and kind. Not one thing I could imagine changing.

The Guancetta di manzo was excellent although the bigoli in salsa was too salty. In overall it was a nice experience and ambiance quiet and calm.

Bad service. Waiters were super rude, and space does not look like the pictures. The food was good but do not recommend the overall experience..
Giardino d'Inverno - Hotel Papadopoli Veneziadear mrs. our restaurant is open in our lounge bar as described in the presentation, the service is polite and welcoming with everyone especially with her who had a misunderstanding with the waiter which was immediately resolved. our customers appreciate our atmosphere and we are content to offer this to our customers.

Everything was absolutely perfect: Service, stuff and food. The food was (really!) absolutely fantastic but the service was even better!! Had a fantastic stay, beautiful and homely Restaurant in a perfect location next to the trainstation with the friendlist stuff we had in Venice. We love the place and will come back Monday. CU!

It was excellent, a really good experience. The food was so tasty and well presented I loved it. The waiters are very kind and the service was perfect.

Much less than expected. The food is reasonably tasty, but not exciting and not original. There is no external view of Venice. It could be anywhere.

Food was super good!!! Way above average. Service was also great. We loved the experience. Located is a bit far from the center but just next to Venezia train station.

The amuse bouche was the star of the show which is always a mistake if nothing quite lives up to the freebie. Gazpacho lacked any flavour. Salmon and avocado with lime and pepper lacked lime and pepper. Very long waits between courses. We’d been there for 90 minutes before our starter arrived. Came here for the veal which had been utterly destroyed by coating in a thick crispy inedible coating. Think your local spicy fried chicken if it had no flavour and was three times as thick. It’s a shame because the staff were nice and it has potential. Not sure why it’s rated so highly by others except it thinks it’s amazing so they might have bought into the delusion.

The food was very good, we liked the small potions! Also the wine they have by glass was excellent. Sadly the service was very unfriendly and failed to make us feel welcome in the restaurant. Its very snobby!

A beautiful setting on the edge of the park inside the hotel but with large glass windows looking out to the park. Waiters were attentive and friendly. The food was excellent . Simple refined and very tasty. Although not cheap it was a lovely experience and with the 20 per cent off food and drink we were happy.

Excellent service and ambiance in this establishment. The staff even changed my wife’s complimentary starter to a vegetarian option as she doesn’t eat mussels. Really appreciated the complimentary extras and the excellent food presentation as we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and I didn’t even tell the staff. I would recommend this restaurant if you are even in Venice!

The atmosphere was so beautiful when you came in, but we decided to sit outside for lunch. The chef gave us 2 small bites first, and this was lovely tasting. Lunch was very very small, we had fish, which was a soup (more like a starter, and didn't taste anything) and gnocco/ravioli (4 pieces, which had a good taste), bellinis (very good) and coffee. We didn't feel like we got value for the money at all since we still were very hungry. This place is probably much better for dinner, the pictures inside looks great!

We arrived at lunchtime with two big suitcases and asked if they could store the luggage while eating, at first they were reserved but soon we got good service and they took care of the bags. The food was really good and the service as well. Nice atmosphere. We strongly recommend this restaurant.

Good example of how a sophisticated hotel restaurant is a true pleasure to eat, using best products and cooking talent + staff doing all to make you feel welcome and not forget the experience..

The only negative comment I have is that we purchased Champagne and the tried to serve it in large wine glasses instead of flutes. We had to ask for flutes and an ice bucket. Other than that it was lovely

Our server was fantastic! I believe his name was Alessio (hopefully I spelled that correct). He handled his overly busy Tuesday night better than most servers. He Had a great personality to match the beautiful food. The attendant was also on point (I came to find he was only there 2 weeks) which helped the service move along very nicely. I give much credit to the chef and highly recommend !
