10/10Everything we ate was very tasty and excellent. The beef marrow stew “ossobuco” and the porcini mushroom and beef dish were exceptional.

2.5/10Small portions. Over salted beef. Over sweetened pumpkin ravioli—all at a premium price. Service suffered. $9.00 coperto for two right off the top. Wine never offered. Tourists treated coldly while locals treated as kings. Management looked tired and half asleep. I’ve worked years in restaurant biz. This crew was operating on a shoestring. A cheap glass of wine and a good pizza elsewhere would have been a better value.

Thank you for your review even if really unpopular, that’s why I’d like to give some clarification: The ravioli with pumpkin are sweet as the traditional Mantova recip writes , I’m sorry you didn’t like . The cover charge is €4/ person , includes Egyptian cotton tablecloths and napkins with bread basket and is declared on the menu outside of the restaurant as well as on the one on your table., like all the restaurants in Italy !!!! I’m sorry for your experience and I’m sure you have confused the waiter ‘s discretion for indifference, this is not our goal. We’d like to give good feelings to our clients ,but obviously sometimes we can’t.

10/10You would think that this restaurant next to the train station would be an overpriced tourist trap. Absolutely the opposite! The food (especially the seafood) was subtle, delicate and delicious. The service was worthy of a Michelin-star rated establishment: attentive, rapid, discreet. Bread, water, food and wines served in perfect harmony for a top notch culinary experience. No hesitation to recommend!

10/10Very happy to find this place so close to our hotel-Excelsior Gallia. About a 3 minutes walk if you cut through the front of the train station. Some reviews on google were not good, but our experience was perfect. Wonderful service, great wine options, food was excellent. check out their wine celler down the little elevator-or you can view it from the window in the floor. Ambiance was also perfect! There is a per person service fee, just like every other restaurant in Italy....and who cares, it's just $3.50 per person. (I saw many complaints about this). Focus on the great overall experience!
