+1I’m never disappointed after a meal at Gilda. We loved everything and even tried something we’ve never ordered before, the Duck. It was delicious! This is by far one of my favourite restaurants in the world.

Chicken based menu items were less and deserts also needs more options Belgium Chocolate based. We couldn't even try truffle as it was out of stock.

We love when guests come ready to explore the menu… so we hear you: a bit more love for chicken dishes and those Belgian chocolate desserts wouldn’t hurt (we know, they’re hard to resist). About the truffle — that one disappearing act hurts us too. On busy days, sometimes the stock flies faster than expected… and it catches even us off guard. Next time, we’ll make sure the experience feels more complete!

Excellent Service, Amazing Food and Great Ambience. The owner comes out to greet Guests (at least when I visited), explains some of the dishes, and chit-chats about various topics; very nice guy. Service as fast, friendly and on the nose. Food tasted spectacular, beef exactly as you ordered, sauce that is to die for, just great. Though if I had to nitpick, the walls showed signs of wear and tear, and some corners had dust and dirt, but you won't notice unless you look for it (I tend to do so). Also, the desert tastes great, but nothing to crazy. Their expertise lies definitely in the Main dishes and starters and those they absolutely nailed. Starters are a 9/10, Main Dishes 10/10, Desert like a 7.5/10, they are tasty, but as I said, not the star of the show. I can only recommend going there, 93/100. Improvements in Desert Quality and Minor Improvements in Cleanliness would elevate this close to perfection.

Sounds like you really got the full Gilda ride: good food, good energy, and yes… that bit of table-side storytelling we can’t help ourselves with. We like that you went into detail (and we *really* like those scores). Starters and mains doing their thing — that’s where we push hardest, so it’s good to see it lands the way it should. Now, the part where you zoom in is also appreciated. The small details on the space and that extra “wow” on desserts… fair call. We keep things a bit wild and alive, but never sloppy — so we’ll tighten that up. Next time, we’ll aim to close that gap from 93/100… Thanks for coming. See you next round! #TeamGILDA

Accomodating staff, flavoursome food swift effecient service. Recommend booking to avoid disappointment, as we did, although staff try their utmost to seat walk ins. Husband had the tapas, i had a main, both meals were highly satisfying. We look forward to returning. Even though it was busy, the staff were incredibly attentive, and we felt very looked after.

Fantastic service and food. I ate early so pretty much had the place to myself, which gave me chance to have a great chat with the owner and waiter, Moses, who was superb and recommended some super things to try. Highly recommend the prawns , beef stew and crème Catalana, served flaming at the table. Super experience!

very cosy restaurant that understand the importance of sound absorbents. beautiful lighting and nice ambience. Friendly helpful staff. We had problems with the meat order and after sending it back to kitchen twice we settled for the Chicken green curry instead and that was delicious. Everything from the kitchen but the tenderloin was great. I find it a bit annoying that a chef that has the knowledge doesn't bother to check the temperature of the meat or at least touch it to know if it is medium or bleue. And to quickly slice the piece open and fry it on high temperature change the meat and still keep the center bloody. A good cut of meat takes it time and also need to rest a bit, preferably in the oven.

About the meat situation, we’re really sorry it didn’t land perfectly at first. Not our style. But we’re glad we could step in and sort it out properly. When something isn’t right, we fix it. Every time I bring friends that visit Barcelona to Gilda they are always blown away. It’s incredible to have an upscale restaurant in Gothico that serves dishes which are so yummy and the staff is so welcoming too. Some of my favorites on the menu are the duck, beef carpaccio, cauliflower, Flemish stew with Belgium fries, and even the goat cheese salad is just stunning. The chef Elvis is super talented and the owner Michel is a big part of why everyone keeps coming back. I’m sure if you go to this restaurant you will leave as happy as my friends and I always do.

It was our 4th or 5th visit in the last two weeks already. Every time we try to order something new, and so far absolutely every single dish has been super delicious!

We came across this place on The Fork and decided to give it a try due to the 50% discount. Well, this was definitely a great decision. We were welcomed by very friendly waiters who escorted us to our seat. The ambiance was very cozy, the food was delicious and service was attentive. We ordered the French onion soup, Belgian beef stew, steak with French fries and Belgian beers - everything was top quality! The place really lives up to the expectation: Mediterranean cuisine with a Belgian touch. We will definitely come back to try out more dishes, keep up the great work!

To be honest, the dishes didn’t quite match our taste. The signature fried prawns with curry ice cream was creative, but the curry ice cream tasted just like a spoon of overnight curry had just come out of the fridge … The tomatoes in the burrata salad were a bit under-ripe and cheese was firm. The cauliflower with sesame sauce was okay, and the pot of mussels was fairly fresh and quite good. However, charging €3.3 for a bottle of still water and €1.8 for ketchup was unreasonable! The staff were all nice, so these comments are about the food only—not the service.

This is the restaurant that I have enjoyed the most since I came to Barcelona. Firstly, the owner has a very good and warm attitude towards service and introduced the dishes to me enthusiastically. Secondly, the food here tastes extremely delicious and the service is also excellent.

I absolutely love Gilda, I've eaten at this restaurant for years. I've brought most of my friends and family members to that place and it's always a hit! The food is not only great but many of the dishes have a special twist to them, making the dining a special experience. One of their most popular dishes is curry chicken with ginger ice cream. It sounds really strange but it's absolutely delicious. The beer is also fantastic! I love to see the looks on people's faces when they try the Cherre Chuffe Belgian beer for the first time. It's simply so good. The owner also likes to greet the guests personally, which gives the place a personal vibe. The service is also great. I can't recommend this place enough ❤️

We had dinner on Saturday night (luckily we made reservations) and instantly fell in love with the place. Michelle (I hope I’m spelling that right; he’s the owner) greeted us like old friends and kept us laughing all evening. He’s charming, chatty, and clearly knows his wine. The first bottle we picked was out of stock, but his backup recommendation ended up being even better… and somehow, a few hours later, we were four bottles in. Our waiter Alejandro was just as fantastic! Friendly, funny, and genuinely cared that we enjoyed every bite. Both he and Michelle had great food suggestions; the tapas portions were perfect, and the Green Chicken Curry was out-of-this-world good. We actually loved it so much that we came back again the next night, something we almost never do when traveling. Alejandro even gave us some great tips on where to go for evening entertainment in Barcelona. We only wish he could have joined us! This spot is a gem - warm, delicious, and full of personality.

A very special place. Cozy. Great atmosphere and service. If Michel has made onion soup, get it! The lamb, curry chicken, and beef are excellent. Expensive but worth it for a special night.

Just wow! Two of us shared tapas and one had steak with frites. The curry ice cream was exceptional. Great tasting food with a twist. Staff very welcoming. Highly recommend

Cedric was amazing server. Food was unique and loved trying the different combinations. Owner welcomed us at our table and we tried several of his recommendations. Loved the concept of savory ice cream in the dishes: thyme infused, curry and ginger ice creams were in 3 different dishes. Delicious!
