This was our first visit to this restaurant. We both went for the Pork Belly and it was absolutely delicious. We ended sharing a cheese cake with passion fruit which was also lovely. The guy who served us was very helpful and friendly taking time to explain the dishes to us. A very nice experience…thank you.

Loved the food, and I rarely leave reviews. The host took the trouble to translate the menu from French to English, and he spoke very good English. Would love to go here again.

Ratings on The Fork and Trip Advisor were solid 5***** We were seated immediately and the menu was explained. We ordered the chicken wing appetizer which arrived in a few minutes. The cost was €9 and consisted of two large chicken wings on a bed of arugula. They wings were okay, but not at all crispy and we wondered if they had been microwaved and then topped with the sauce. Not worth ordering due to taste and ridiculously high price. For dinner my husband ordered the ramen, he said that the pork was delicious, but the rest of the meal was mediocre. The noodles were not ramen, they looked like fettuccine, there was egg shell in the broth, the flavors were not rich. I ordered the braised vegetables and requested no miso marinade due to soy sensitivity. It was just a plate of artfully placed vegetables, the puréed carrots with tempura purple sweet potato was the only flavorful thing on the plate. I left hungry and felt like I could eat a sandwich. Completely unsatisfying and expensive.

Donna. Thank you for your feedback. We're grateful for your thoughts. I am very sorry for the disappointment. I am sorry if I said something that made you think that the wings would be crispy, actually, the intended result was a soft confit. They have been aged, soaked and slow cooked to that effect. About the price, 9€ is a standard to low price for an appetizer in a restaurant that serves home cooked food, so is the serving portion. I am sorry that you weren’t convinced by our ramens. That dish is on and off the menu, it keeps coming back due to high demand but I can understand that nothing fits everybody’s taste. Regarding your vegetables, I have to take some responsibility here, I shouldn’t have accepted to serve them without their dressing and marinade. It makes sense that without it, the flavors would be poorer. I am not accustomed to customers requesting changes, I didn’t really know how to handle that. About your feelings about the price, you were aware of our pricing when you decided to dine here.

My partner and I enjoyed our meal. The appetizer and main dish was very tasty. We loved the atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant. Enjoyed our conversations with friendly wait staff. We will be happily return here again.
