6/10Great food but we were seated in the smallest corner right next to the toilets and the alcohol fridge. People were always bumping into us going in and out of the toilets. The fridge was noisy and had a super bright lighting - it felt like we were sitting in front of a cinema screen because of the strong light. Overall not a cozy environment to enjoy the food. The waiters did not help when requested for a better seat.

6.5/10We were at GoJo on a Sat evening to eat dinner after hearing and reading about the good food being served here. The restaurant is quite big and busy however only 3 people were working there and that was not enough. It was also disorganized and we saw them walk past us and others without even asking or acknowledging if we needed anything. The speed at which the food came out was good however if you wanted anything in between, it took forever. They were very friendly though and quite quick at getting us plates and additional things we asked for. The food which we ordered was good. We ordered 2 veg tasting dishes, 1 lamb dish (last on the menu and mildly spiced) and doro wat (chicken). The veg tasting plates were excellent however the lamb was anemic and barely tasted of anything. The chicken although very tasty was extremely disproportionate to the cost (almost 200kr). I mean they give a boiled egg which is almost boiled to oblivion and a chicken leg in gravy. For a restaurant of this quality that is quite disappointing. Overall, food taste was very good and portion size of the veg tasting plate was excellent. The rest we could have done without however might go back to try the beef dishes next time.

9.5/10Awesome place. Very traditional. African service minded, so if you expect 5 star service you won’t get that but it’s authentic and really good food. Excellent staff will 100% go back.
