Horrible quality of the food. The meat in hamburger had an acidic taste, it may have been a tinned meat. The other other food we ordered also tasted very low class. We could see into the kitchen and te people working there were surely not authentic, local chefs. I wish we had seen that earlier, and had not read the misleading reviews.

Went for dinner, had two starters and shared the risotto. Good food and service, pleasant place. Recommended.

We were visiting Bari and selected Gola Gourmet Kitchen because of its location and the great reviews it had received. Lorenzo, our server, greeted us and took our order after explaining that the kitchen opened at 7:30. We started with a nice bottle of Falanghina wine and then ordered Spaghetti all’Assassina. a specialty of the Puglia region. The aroma, the texture, and the flavor of the spaghetti were out of this world wonderful. Equally outstanding were our decadently delicious desserts: a slice of chocolate cheesecake for me and pana cotta for my wife. A good indication of the quality of the cooking at GOLA Gourmet Kitchen is that my wife and I, visiting from America, were the only non-Italians eating there. We highly recommend GOLA Gourmet Kitchen for an outstanding dining experience!

The service was incredible. We had two servers helping us out, explaining the dishes (what made them local and what made some of them more modern), and making us feel welcomed. The ambience was a little different than expected but just because it was calmer, not because it was bad. The spaghetti assassini are an absolute must-have, an absolute reference for the dish.

Slow service and then very overcooked and frankly pretty tasteless food. Pasta to start was over cooked so pasta had congealed and was served lukewarm after an hour wait. One measly small prawn in the squid ink pasta is pretty pathetic. The grilled fish was all over cooked. Squid was like rubber, the prawn was so dry, salmon and tuna also overcooked. We also had tuna on its own which was equally as poor as was also overdone. We were extremely disappointed and staff were undeterred about our experience. After asking 3 times we eventually got the bill and we were glad to get out of there. We learnt our lesson going off the beaten track, we wish we had stayed more central / old town where we had much better and considerably cheaper meals.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and chose to book ourselves in for our first night in Bari. We wanted to see more of the city so decided to walk from our hotel next to the railway station. Our booking was at 7.30 and we were greeted by a very welcoming waiter who was very attentive throughout our service. We had the cod croquettes as a starter then the Pork fillet and the Prawns as our main course. The food and Puglian wine were exceptional. My partner's prawn dish had 5 enormous prawns on the plate and she found them incredibly fresh and tasty. My pork was cooked to perfection and served with a peppercorn and rosemary sauce and roast potatoes that were crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. In short: perfect. We then shared a dark chocolate sponge cake for dessert and we had a lovely chat with the manager as we settled the bill. Excellent service, excellent food, and by the time we'd finished (about 8.50pm) the whole restaurant was full. Would very much recommend seeking out this friendly team whose service and food made our first evening in Bari a very memorable one.

The place is a bit far away from Bari city center, however it is a hidden jewel. Excellent wine selection. Gourmet food. We received home made chips and an extra plate, compliments of the chef. They said for being late, but the serving was actually fast. The service was great, friendly and very helpful. One interesting fact was a lady, probably administrator, doing the restaurant accounting on a table next to us. More interestingly was when she kept asking repeatedly the waiter, in Italian, how much longer are we going to stay. A bit embarrassing, but I won't let that change my rating. Still loved the place.

Excellent food, very good service, and a very nice red wine recommendation by our waiter. Atmosphere is modern and very pleasant. We came especially from the center of Bari and it was definitely worth it!

On arrival, did not feel welcomed. Very uncomfortable process of getting a table (restaurant was empty and we were seated by the front door)…another group arrived after we had ordered wine and were served before us…the food was just ok…an adventurous turn on burned spaghetti…service did improve later but unfortunately the damage was done…I really wanted to enjoy our experience!

What a wonderful little place to eat - very friendly and hard working staff. Food was delicious (although I couldn’t eat too much as I was a bit drunk on arrival). I’d highly recommend!

It was really amazing! The food, the atmosphere, the service. Everyone was warm and attentive and everything we ordered was really exceptional! We really loved every second of it. Don’t miss out on this gem.

The setting and decorations of the dishes are wonderful. The taste is very good. Only its address on the website is misleading. Our taxi driver cannot reach it by the address. Luckily, there is google netvigation.

The food was remarkable. The red wine was full body and aromatic from the region. We sat for three hours and did not stop eating. A wonderful experience. The service was efficient and quick the owner make sure everything was presented explained and enjoyed. I highly recommend Gola in Bari. Go hungry!
