We arrived in Meta exhausted after 4 trains from Monopoli. This restaurant was just the restorative experience we needed! The setting is to die for and the service very welcoming. Picking out our own fish from the catch of the day made it clear they were fresh: red snapper (dentice), spigola (branzino), or sea bream (orata). We went with the snapper, grilled. Great choice - served perfectly fileted with grilled eggplant and zucchini and a mixed salad. Coupled with a coda di volpe crisp white wine, we were delighted. A family run place by 2 brothers - one is the chef.

Place is by the beach very nice. The waiter is really nice and the service and food are amazing

We ate the catch of the day (Sea brass) which was grilled and served with fresh vegetables. It was delicious. The owner was very well willing and hospitable. A very nice place with very nice food.
