A surprisingly good restaurant despite all its mixed experiences: an actual Portuguese owner on site, a French-styled kitchen (sans kerchiefs), mostly East Asian service staff, and a menu of Portuguese ingredients made with French-trained precision and techniques. Detailed knife work, Espagnole mother brown sauce, etc. But we’re still laughing at the two grilled spears of asparagus for €10.

The black Iberian pork was delicious and the accompanying vegetables were superb. My husband enjoyed his lamb dinner and as we were leaving told a couple on the sidewalk who were peering in that the restaurant was excellent. The staff was kind and attentive.

The place itself is really cute and cosy, and our waiter was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired — we waited over an hour for our food, and one of us had to wait an extra 15 minutes due to a mistake with the order. All they offered as compensation was some bread with butter and one free dessert, which felt a bit underwhelming given the delay. The food was actually good, but the overall experience didn’t quite match.

The entrance's oning is old and dirty, not a good start. The menu was so old that it crumbled in my hands, I could not even turn the pages, that does not bode well. The staff is very nice, but the food is overhyped and barely ok. I ordered an omelette with bacon that was practically tasteless. Please stop hyping this place, it demeans the credibility of The Fork

Very cute, eclectic place. Service was great, food was good. We had bagel with salmon, portion was generous and salmon and cream cheese were great, but I would not say bagel was fantastic, but it is also hard to find places in Lisbon with artesanal bagels we used to. My husbands meal was pork which was good. Chocolate cake was ok. We will come back for sure for a drink and atmosphere, but most likely not food as food quality and price you pay for it...did not do it for us cause we live in Lisbon and comparing it to the food quality and prices of local places here.

This was our favourite restaurant during our 5-day trip to Lisbon. It's tucked away and easy to miss, but well worth a visit. With the open kitchen and intimate feel, this restaurant celebrates the food it serves - beautiful ingredients, amazing presentation and great wine. We'll be back!

I was a bit underwhelmed here. The food lacks some finesse, some inventiveness. But it is a fine place to spend an evening for sure. The staff is friendly, as everywhere I went in Lisbon. Quality/ price ratio is not entirely balanced.
